I originally booked a different car, but when I arrived, I was told that the vehicle I reserved was not available. Instead, I was given an older car that was dirty and had a strong, unpleasant smell, as if someone had been smoking in it. From the very first day, the car was uncomfortable to use due to the bad odor and lack of cleanliness. This was not the level of service I expected

I think U-Haul corporate does a great job in setting up its dealers for success. The only thing I would mention is that in some of the smaller operations, not all of the items that show up on the reservation list are available, such as dollies and hand trucks. I think it would be a good idea if all dealers a strictly required to maintain a minimum supply of these items.

The mileage is not correct at this place. They scam about mileage. Also car is not easy to start and when i drive it is about fall apart.

I reserved a U haul at 2472 knapp st for 3:00pm for a 10 inch they gave me the hardest time they told me that there was no 10 inch available that I would have to get the 15 or more I told them that I have been running around all weekend trying to rent said U haul that I so not have time to leave than go to another U haul for the same thing to happen I had gotten no help with the 10 inch that I reserved this is unacceptable the for knapp st to call me the next day to tell me that I need to give them more money when the tank was on empty anyways unacceptable next time I need to move I will not be coming back to U haul.

Clean the inside a little more to avoid odors from previous users. But overall still a great and fast experience, very easy I'll be back for sure.

I ordered blankets to cover my furniture and received blankets that was very dirty and some had car oil on it. The dolly had oil on it as well. I ordered 12 blankets and they only gave me 5 but I didn't want to use them after seeing the way they looked. The truck was okay though.

The truck was dirty, it's needs a very big wheel alignment, the passenger door doesn't open from the outside and it was just a terrible experience. (I rented trucks before). The lock for the back didn't work, there wasn't even a key for it and the drivers side mirror was totally broken.

This location is registered as a U-Haul but parks all there cars on the street spent an hour looking for street parking upon return. Dirty interior no gas

Vehicle wasn't clean, but I guess it'd be average for a vehicle shared amongst many. One of the tires was low on air. Minimum psi for the tire is 80, but it was at 22 psi. I had to pay to pump it back to 80. Upon returning the vehicle, I noticed that I was charged for the estimated mileage I originally estimated when I rented the vehicle, but the actual mileage I had driven was less.

I can only attest to this dealership and the service I've received is first-class. I will be using them again in the future. I also feel the same about U-Haul of Bensonhurst on New Utrecht Avenue, they are also top-notch.

Everyone should come to this location van and truck are neat and clean I would recommend everyone uses this location very friendly people working inside and the best part store is like a living room also very clean

Gentleman at the counter was nice and courteous. The van was so filthy and smell very bad, like sewer, almost made me throw up. One of the tire was low.

Truck was a disaster. The cab smelled like cigarettes. The back of the truck was filthy, dirty with construction debris and smelled like fish. I had to clean the truck out myself. I made a complaint to customer service 3 days ago and I’m still waiting to hear from regional manager, which it seems like customer satisfaction is not his number one priority since it’s been 3 days and no call yet.

The only thing I would say is that dealers should take a more careful approach when it comes to simple things like making sure the tires on all the vehicles are always up to snuff and not just counting on U-Haul's Road Assistance program. It's better for both the dealer and U-Haul in the end. It will save time and money and create a better atmosphere for customers.

The truck was dirty stinky, bug infested, and dangerous. Shocks were gone. The oil indi ator was low. The tire indicator said the back tires were low. It was the worst thi g they did was to give me a fifty car .I have pictures. I want my money back They are not representing a good customer service. AnD they have a car wash at this location. I think they are scamming your customers. I want my money back .

This is the second time using this facility to move 1 item . This item is to large to move with out a dolly. I requested a dolly and both time was told that it would be there and it was not and the guy was annoyed that I ask about it and made him take it off my order with he did not ...

I already have recommended it! My rental experience was simple and easy, EXACTLY the way it should be. If I reserved a van using their website… it’s easy believe me. The office is very clean and the gentleman who assisted me twice was helpful, patient, and kind. The van itself was new, clean, and the AC blasted 🥶❄️👍 Initially, I loved that the van had windows in the back, but the partition interfered for me. I had to get used to that, as well as the split view side mirrors; they seem like progress but still undecided. I will use this Uhaul location again 💯

I have been a U-Haul customer for a long time and have never had any issues at all with the products and service. It is a very well-run operation that only very rarely has any hiccoughs. I've never had an issue.

The van was absolutely disgusting. It smelled terrible and it was full of trash and the fuel tank was nearly empty when we picked it up. The proprietor demanded that we return it with the tank at least a quarter full. All in all, it got the job done, but it was a nasty and unpleasant experience.
