Representative at Halls was not helpful. Never logged the trailer return. Also i called Elmira Heights location to notify them and they did nothing. Finally, i received call later in the day from u haul asking me if I had returned the trailer and had to explain to them that it was dropped off before the agreed upon time.

There was a little bit of a problem with checking in .I did it online ,was renting it for my dad,it was under his name but somehow all of my info came up when trying to check it in ....finally after what seemed forever got it cleared up ...then when we went to the vehicle we noticed no "hand truck" inside,had clearly rented one online ...so had to go back to the store to report that....just overall very time consuming but otherwise good experience.

I paid for an appliances dolly and a utility dolly and there's wasn't either in the uhall.

Signed up for a local pick up. Then the day before the pick up after not receiving a call, I called and found out I had to drive 45 minutes out of the way to pick up the truck. The trucks alignment was absolutely horrible and almost impossible to drive. I then come to find out. I had to take this truck back to the same location because U-Haul gets to call local, local no matter where you pick it up even though local for me is in a different location. I have rented many times from U-Haul and I will not rent again from You. Every single time I rent from U-Haul there is a logistical problem and I am fed up with it.

I booked a 10’ van and all they had was a 15’ van. Ended up having to pay for the 15’ van, even tho I booked the 10’, I was not happy about that.

I was told the gas level was between 1/4 and 1/2 I got 5 miles away and noticed it was between 1/4 and empty. No cell service were I was. When I returned the truck I told the representative he said they were supposed to put gas in it before I picked the truck up. He said he would adjust the price when another representative came in but they never did. I returned the truck as asked with the gas level between 1/4 and 1/2

The person helping me, both at pick-up and drop-off, did not seem trained at all on how to do anything U-Haul related. He did figure it out, and he wasn't rude at all, but I did feel like I was making his life difficult simply by being there for a U-Haul. The guy who attached the trailer when I picked it up was very pleasant and helpful. When I returned it, after going into the store to check in, I went back to where I had picked it up. Apparently that's not where I was supposed to drop it off, so I waited and waited and no one came and I had to call the store to remind them that I was still there waiting. Apparently they had wanted me to go to a different location on the property, but nobody had told me that - it was a miscommunication. Needless to say, I won't be renting from there again unless I have to. Again, no one was rude or anything like that, it was just confusion.

I have rented from U-Hauls in Painted Post, Vestal and other places in the past and this may be the ultimate U-Haul destination in the entire country. It is fantastic. I will rent from them again and again. Absolutely the best ever! Thank you for the greatest U-Haul experience ever.
