The process of getting the trailer was horrible. I reserved it for Denver CO and after confirming the day before, I was driving 8 hours down to Denver when I received a call stating there was no trailer available in Denver and they automatically changed my reservation, without my consent, to pick up the trailer in Delta CO which is 4 hours away so another 8 hour round trip!!!! AS IF THAT WAS NO BOTHER!!!!! REALLY????? I was able to change the reservation to Cheyenne WY with 4 phone calls - 3 of which the agent hung up on me so I had to call back..... My friend rented 2 UHaul trucks 3 weeks later and it was the same issue. She called, reserved 2 trucks, 2 weeks in advance, confirmed the day before and had a call stating they could not provide the trucks. She was forced to get smaller trucks and had to return them to the same location which added mileage which they would not compensate for appropriately. Honestly, due to both these experiences, I will never do business with UHaul again.linda L.

My original reservation was for Stillwater, OK. The day before pickup I was notified that Stillwater didn't have an available truck. I was told that the closest location was in Ponca City, 43 miles away. I was given an extra rental day and some mileage, both of which weren't used or necessary. In the end, I had to absorb the cost associated with travel to and back from Ponca City.STEVEN M.

Employ individuals who will remember to set up what is asked of them. (After-hours pickup to be exact) Woman that I spoke to over the phone did not set up pickup process as she said she would. My trip was delayed approximately 15 hours and I ended up having to pay an additional $100 for an Enterprise vehicle because of her mistake. When I arrived to pick up the Uhaul truck the morning AFTER my pick up date to ask what went wrong she said â€œOh I completely forgot to set it up!â€ and laughed immediately after. I was disappointed with the reservation system uhaul is using. I made my reservation ahead of time. The day before my pick up they call and tell me they have no trucks that I am requesting in the area. I had to go to a smaller truck and drive 150 miles oneway to get itNorma J.

This is more the customer's responsibility, but if you don't already have a way of penalizing customers for dropping off their U-Haul trucks in front of open parking spots, we hope you will implement something. We came around 5:00 pm one evening and the only parking spot left to park a trailer was mostly blocked. We wanted to be considerate and leave our trailer in a convenient spot for the next person but had to slowly back in at a tight angle without hitting the cars around.CAMRON J.

Just an oversight I'm sure but there was damage to the car dolly I rented that got worse with the mileage I put on it and the receiving location questioned the condition. So far nothing has been said and Uhaul has been good about it, just could have been warned.ricardo N.

I love the fact that in order to pick up the truck I have to do someone's job from my phone and pay full price to rent the vehicle. I had zero help from any onsite employee during pickup. If this is how its going to be I will rent elsewhere.Daryl K.

Upon arrival at the drop off location, there were no after hours instruction posted, no after hours phone number, nothing. Even though I had the 800 number for U-Haul, the telephone wait was unacceptable, and the online instruction provided were not easily accessible; therefore, I had to keep the U-Haul trailer parked illegally at my place until Monday morning. I will NEVER use this U-Haul location again. There are other U-Haul renters in town, and I know that they have after-hours instructions and phone numbers posted. The attitude of the person at the drop-off check-in counter was pathetic, and she could not understand that there was a problem because no after-hours instructions were posted. She seemed to think that the U-Haul 800 number was the answer to everything, and that it was acceptable that there were no after-hours instructions, no operating hours, and no after-hours phone number posted at their location. The two phone numbers I had for this drop-off location were connected to an answering machine, that was not checked in time to provide information to me. I never received a return phone call from them. Very poor, uninterested customer service attitude. Never again!!!VERNDELL G.

Drop off location personnel were rude, charged a whole extra day for everything for being 1 hour late, charged for fuel when we actually had more in tank than when we picked it up, refused to buy back extra unused uhaul boxes which clearly states on boxes uhaul buys back 100% guaranteed. Upon my departure of Oklahoma, Amanda was extremely helpful at fulfilling my needs. She went above and beyond her duties to satisfy what I needed even when the needs were not on their location. It was also a last minute notice that she pulled a rabbit out of her hat when my original contract from 2 weeks prior had been closed down.Donald G.
I clicked on the app and pushed the button that said the truck was clean because I assumed it would be. The cab was FILTHY with cigarette ash and crumbs all over the floor and trash on the floor behind the seats and spilled/dried/sticky stuff in the cup holders. The back of the truck was layered in dirt and someone had left a Gatorade bottle on the floor. The door to the back was not on springs and took three adults to push it up and when it was closed was VERY dangerous as it came crashing down with unstoppable force. When we checked in, my husband was forced out of the building because he forgot a mask and they didn't have any. Then the girl who checked me in sat behind the glass, which has an 8-inch opening across the bottom, with her mask down around her neck. Her germs could come wafting out at me through that huge gap in the glass. I will not recommend this location of UHaul to anyone. I used the other location at the south end of town and the one over in Blackwell with no problems. All the locations I used in Iowa were super clean and fantastic!Rachel T.

The staff acted like she didn't even give a crap we were there and that it felt like we were bothering her. The truck was horrible! The steering felt so loose that when doing 50 mph or above it gave the death wobble. We had a blow out not due to a nail or anything but due to a heavily dry rotted tire!seth E.

The people very nice. However the U Haul office system caused a big delay. The first time I tried to rent a car hauler the clerk and I completed the paperwork but couldn't enter it into the system. I had to cancel because of a deadline. A week later I tried again. Your system had dumped all my info so we had to re-enter it. The car hauler was fine and the return was fast and easy.Richard F.

We got a call the day before our rental telling us they didn't have the truck we reserved. The truck had been reserved for several weeks. They got us a larger truck but you reserve something you expect for them to have it instead of renting it to someone else.Donald F.

If you don't have dolly's available then it shouldn't be listed as an option on the website. The equipment's battery died right when we were going to return it. There is no reason for that battery to have died. He had just used it an hour before and no lights were left on. Roadside had to come and jump it and towed it off. They credited us for the fuel we were unable to put in it but billed us for 113 miles when we only used it for 23 miles. My husband had to speak to the Regional Manager to get this corrected. No one else was willing to help us make this right. We've always had issues with Uhaul. I hope to never have to use your equipment again.Jamie M.
