Very lengthy process because the person helping was unfamiliar with the process. We asked for a different location that was open later and it was changed because the size truck we wanted wasn't going to be there. Pads were supposed to be included but they weren't available at the new place so had to drive to another place . I think we ended up paying for them twice.Lois S.

No one was at the counter to help us for several minutes - longer than what was necessary and professional (10+ minutes). In the truck itself, it looked like the inside of the truck (cup holder area specifically) had not been wiped down in quite some time. Bits of trash and mail left by previous drivers. More thorough check of cleanliness would be nice.Bridget H.

I was blown away by the customer service that was provided at this location. Sammie (Sam) really made my day, I was upset after just leaving another U-Haul store that tried to over charge me for the same truck rental that I had previously just about two weeks ago that was $100 cheaper. Remove the sliding door. Because if items are not tied down, they can cause the door to not open. Or offer tie down straps with the rental. I saw other trailers with opening doors. Opened outward. I think those models are better.Diego F.

When I explained to him what happened to me and the electrical issues I experienced, he right away apologized and said I should have had a positive experience and that he will credit my rental. I stood and waited for 10 minutes to be assisted, at which point I was told someone else handled the uhaul rentals, and waited another 10 minutes to be told the same thing from someone else. Finally someone came and told me where to drop the trailer, but didn't take my name, or assist in helping to drop the trailer. No inspection of the trailer was done. I was charged a $25 cleaning fee when I didn't even use the truck. Never even opened the back. I drove it a total of 8 miles and it sat all day long unused and they charged me $25. I even returned the truck with more gas then I received it with. TerribleJoshua P.

Very bad experience. I have been using U-Haul whenever I have to move as you can look at my history with U-Haul. I could have gone to Budget, though they are cheaper but I m just used to U-Haul because its a better brand than Budget (at least that is what I thought). Last time I had an issue with the truck ( The sliding door wouldn't close, safety issue) so I just returned the truck and got full charged and the manager said he cant refund my money and he said that the next time I will be compensated with the truck / he will take care of the charges. When I went to rent truck this time (different location)Firstly, I had to wait an hour to get the rental, though my appointment was at 6:00 pm and they said I wasn't able to rent a truck till I pay my Dues from last time. I always had cleared my account but the lady said that I was late in returning the truck that's why they had charged me $48. I went a head and paid for it since I needed the truck and than there was no notes in the system saying that my rental is free as the manager had promised from my previous rent in 2015. This truck that I just rented was so filthy dirty the bed wasn't clean and there was dog hair all over the FRONT SEATS and on the FLOOR. Seems like the dog was sick, there were patches of hair. Me and my son are allergic to pet hair. my wife and my son didn't even ride in the truck for health issue. But I had to drive the truck like that all the way to Houston and I was not in a good state of health. On a highway driving with allergies it wasn't comfortable at all. I have made videos of the truck so I can show it to the corporate office. Sorry to say it was the most disgusting AND WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE so much that I couldn't even use the seats or the floor for anything. And than also the truck wouldn't go more 50 mph with out shaking really bad. Don't know if it was tire balancing issue. It would start swirling when u go 50 mph. I really would like to get a call from a higher management so I can explain in more brief about my experience / Troubler that I had to go through. Andnd if they have any questions I m available to talk to them. And the only way I will be fully satisfied is by getting my full refund as I got charged for a truck that was not worth renting and the inconvenience / problem I had to face because of irresponsibility. I had called yesterday to customer service about the complain and she said that the area manager will call me, but still no call.Mudassar K.

I was contacted in the afternoon of my last day of rental regarding a drop-off location different than the pick-up one. unfortunately my phone was out of battery and I was on the road, so I did not get the message until the next morning after I had already drop off the truck. I wish I would have been told at pick-up to check for potential different drop-off location, because this one was right by my house and someone was expecting the truck there. beside this matter, the truck drove great, it had new tires and was very clean, I felt very safe.
