I won't know until I see an adjusted invoice. I was told I would only pay$19.95 a day since they did not have one available that day for three days. I was billed for$29.95x 3 with all included totaling over$150.! I thought it would cost $60.!CECELIA V.

The person at the pick up center did not update my drop off location even after I showed her a document with the address written on it. As a result, the drop off location was not aware that I was enroute to drop the trailer at their location. U Haul lpick-up ocation moved from from 2miles 9(Sneads Ferry, NC) away from my location to about 20 miles away (Hampstead, NC) from my location. Did a self check-in at 7am..they forgot to add Dolly. Frustration was high but Shannon at the Sneads Ferry location hooked me up with a dolly as soon as their location opened. Thank you Shannon for superb customer service.Suzanne C.

The tire was bald and blew our with a full truck. The roadside service people came quick but the first one didn't have any tires that would work and had to send a second one out. This took up half of our day and the truck should not have been rented in that condition. It was very dangerous.Ann B.
Horrible experience. Took me over 1 hour to be able to get the keys to the truck because of their horrible app. The truck was dirty and when we complained about it, they charged us 25 dollars cleaning fee, and 45 dollars for half tank of gas, when we only drove 21 miles on the truck and never had a full tank to begin with. It took so long to leave their lot with the truck that by the time we were able to live, it was dark and we couldn't even finish the move, and had to return the truck a couple of hours later. I would not recommend UHaul to anybody, as if my experience was not bad enough, I had to spend more time on the phone to get refunded for the wrong charges. Just bad all the way!Alexandre S.

The headlights were barely visible in the dark. Also, the windshield wipers needed to be replaced. They barely cleared any rain off the windshield. Both items are important to driver safety as well as the others on the road. I would think these items would be a priority.GEOFF B.

Wrong truck was left outside. Used mobile pick-up and spent 1,5h on the phone with U-Haul to change equipment number bc mileage, photos, etc. were for the wrong truck. Location was closed so local area manager intervened but it was a major hassle. Once we dropped off the truck, the person working at the site said that the other truck had been in the back (which was fenced in and locked) - it wasn't, because all of the online instructions including lockbox and where to find the truck were applicable (meaning the keys for the truck were in there) only somebody forgot to change the equipment number. People make mistakes, that's ok. But please own them and make it right. You wasted 1,5h of our time :(MARTINA C.

Although to no fault of the lick up location, they were great, we did however have some issues with our reservation. We were never called with address of the pick up location (changed due to availability). Called customer care twice and was disconnected both times. By the time we got someone on the phone it was 45 minutes after our pick up time and our pick up location was nearly 40 miles from our home. This issue actually caused us to keep the truck for an extra day. We had scheduled an early pick up due to the extreme heat. By the time we started loading it was over 112Â°. To say that part was a bit annoying and costing us extra too is an understatement. Please be more mindful in assisting those with pick up locations. A simple email or text would have been perfect.Holly L.

My rental trailer was moved ( as I watched) approx 100ft from my preferred rental location to this new storage facility. Then Hampstead Self Storage didn't have the blankets I requested so I offered to walk over to my preferred location and retrieve them, and did. If you stayed with my preferred location it would've worked out better for all concerned. Moving my preferred location only made more work for both people running them....Gregory A.
