More of a drop off location than anything. Decent amount of parking for the trailer, but no clear indication of where it should be left.

I paid for a appliance dolly that I never received it made me have to keep the truck later because I couldn’t accomplish what I need to do without the dolly

Although the individual working at the sketchy auto shop was nice and pointed us in the right direction of the uhaul, it was all downhill from there. After loading it with my items hours later, it was discovered that the battery was dead. Instead of waiting for roadside assistance (which I’m glad we didn’t because just you wait), we jumped it ourselves, let it run for awhile and then got one more round of items. It wouldn’t start AGAIN 2 minutes later - delaying the day by at least a few hours. Then, the next day, on the road to the next destination (2.5 hours away from home might I add) the fucking piece of shit 10’ truck we originally had DIES. Well, the engine does at least. It won’t accelerate after a random check engine light and tire pressure gauge pops on mid way through the 8 hour drive. My dad is left stranded on the side of the road. The proper steps are followed, roadside assistance is dispatched, and we think all will be well soon. Wrong. Roadside assistance CANCELS without telling my dad and the safety officer and the Virginia State police that pull up behind my dad tell him he’s going to have to pay for towing to move the vehicle since it’s on the side of an entry ramp to 77. He pays $150 for towing (which we still haven’t been refunded) and they tow him to a uhaul distributor. He finds out the roadside assistance CANCELS and he (rightfully so) gets angry. The uhaul distributor (since he’s friends with the cops) is nice enough to help my dad swap trucks to the only option left - 26’. My dad loads it himself (because he has to) and then drives once again (with a 4 hour delay because of this). Roadside assistance sucked so fucking much and I will NEVER be using uhaul again <3

After I picked up the U-Haul and drove it over 3 hours, kept it at my house overnight, dropped it off, the drop off location called to ask me “if I left a potentially loaded gun under the seat”. I will never rent or recommend U-Haul again.

The area where these Uhauls are located, looks like a junk yard! Day 1 of picking up the truck, I had to call roadside service, the person who lease these trucks, obviously doesn't clean nor maintenance them. It was a horrible experience and the Owner of H&D cycles,is a liar!!! I'm shocked tht the corporation of UHAUL, lease trucks to this place, it's called H&D cycles, but it has a bunch of broken down cars, on the property! Your website wouldn't let me in, if a friend wasn't with me who after several tries was finally able to access your site, I never would have been able to get my truck. Very hard to navigate

I had this booked at another location and I was never notified that the location changed until I got to the original location and the app said I was picking it up somewhere else. Again, same thing happened when I went to return it. Very disappointed in UHaul for this.

Make your app easier to use. Wouldn't let me upload the pictures on drop-off so I had to take pics & come home & get in touch with customer service.

Difficult location and intimidating. No obvious office in a motorcycle shop, walking in alone to a dark back cluttered corner of an office filled with political paraphernalia. There is no obvious customer desk, bell or direction other than you can see a Uhaul parked amongst the junk cars, appearing to be there for repair. Walking into shop, it is unwelcoming and intimidating to have to step over grease, bike parts on floor to find a man inside a tiny closed door office in back with no room for more than one person. Shop owner just handed keys over. Had to find truck in a muddy crowded dirt lot mixed in with repair cars and junkers. Spent over an hour cleaning the interior of the rental myself and it was still disgusting. Had to put air in tires also. Pizza remains all over passenger door, it smelled like rotting trash and there was old food in the seats and the floor. Windows were so filthy It took an hour to clean inside and out to see to drive. I don't expect rentals to be new or perfect, but driving 5 hours in a truck that smelled so bad of BO and rotten food was horrible...that was after I cleaned, vacuumed and sprayed lysol the best I could. I would have refused this rental and location had it not been the only one available and my need for one. I picked another location for pick up, however the way Uhaul changes based on availability the day before makes it unpredictable to be able to refuse a location when you desperately need one. I will never use this location again and would drive further to avoid it.

H & D Cycles was a great dropoff spot, although a little off the beaten path location-wise. They were technically closed when we arrived but staff were still around and helped us take the trailer off our hitch when we couldn't lift it.

Clean the vwhicle. Also maintenance was not done properly. Door seal on driver’s side kept falling off and caused the door to not shut properly, drove with door partially open because it could not be closed from the inside. Prior accident on front headlight area resulted in the wrong headlight being installed. It was dimly lit at best and dangerous to drive through the many tunnels along the way and at night. It was not safe. Could have left it with more gas then just under a quarter tank. App would not let me report any of this when we picked it up at 8 am, it would not let me take pictures. Very unhappy that I had to pay full price for a dirty, unsafe and damaged vehicle. I should receive a partial refund!

The extra dolly and moving pads we ordered were not in the truck, we had to inconveniently pick them up from another location after bringing the truck back to the loading area.

I feel like I was overcharged. The amount I actually ended up paying was more than what was initially indicated to me. I never requested the safetow coverage for 8.00 and the state tax doubled from 2.00 to 4.00. The trailer was 24.95 rental but the extra fees amount to another 15.00.

Our original reservation was to a different addess and that location REFUSED to accept our truck. Had to drive 15-20 minutes to new location that was closed and not in the best area. Will look at Budget for our next needs.
