The chains kept falling off the trailer dragging on the street there was nowhere to hook the chains when the car wasn't loaded h&s automotive complaint about that when I did put the chains on the trailer they just kept falling off on me maybe suggest somewhere to hook them so that they don't drag on the street

lorrie gI recently returned my U-Haul on March 3, 2025, (Contract No. 24932536), and wanted to relay my experience to you. I took a 5x8 trailer from Bozeman, MT, to Bullhead City, AZ, and have felt particularly disturbed by what happened at the end of the experience. At the drop off location, H&S Automotive (2620 HWY 95, Bullhead City, AZ, 86442), the employee/manager who I interacted with left a very negative experience for myself. After some delay, the gentleman took the trailer off my truck's hitch, lifted it quite high in the air, and scratched the tailgate of my truck in multiple areas. Once finished, he shrugged and suggested that was it for the day. I merely pointed at the large gouges and discoloration on my truck's tailgate (as I was standing next to him through this whole interaction) and he proceeded to lick his finger, rub my tailgate's paint, and after seeing the scratch still visible said, "Go home and clean it. If it's still there, I'll have my body guy look at it." He then proceeded to walk off without me having said a word. I drive a (2023) Toyota truck, and simply put, trucks are meant for this sort of thing. I also happen to own a paint pen supplied by Toyota upon purchasing the truck. However, the displayed lack-of-respect, unprofessionalism, and insincere behavior has left a lasting impression since yesterday and I wanted to contact someone about this. I was appalled by this gentleman's behavior, and in the face of openly damaging my vehicle, simply walked away without even an apology. Truly, the worker acted as a scumbag. I would like to end by stating that this does not alter my opinion of the U-Haul brand. The young man who helped me when I picked up the truck was a hard worker and respectful employee---truly a great kid to work with. However, I wanted to notify someone of this incident, and I will be contacting H&S Automotive through Google Reviews and within the U-Haul feedback survey.

Sue STerrible experience. I had to deal with two U-Haul dealers whom gave the most horrible customer I’ve ever experienced, along with hidden fees that I was adamant on them not adding. I will not be using this service ever again.
Gerardo PThe 24/7 pickup was a disaster as the last step involved scanning the back of my driver's license which it would not do. After trying for 45 minutes, I called customer service and was put on hold. After holding for over 15 minutes, I just gave up and came back the next day during business hours. Later learned that I could have touched "stop scan" which would have given me the option of taking a picture of the back of the license. However, that was not explained in the instructions!

Richard FThe U-Haul Van I picked up was dirty as hell and the dashboard says "Oil change required" every time when engine starts. The auto shop owner only poured more oil into engine when this issued was addressed. He didn't even bother to vacuum the driving seat, but only the copilot seat. When I rented it, they knew it was after hour return which was 9pm, so they showed me how to put the key in the box. Yet, the first receipt said 1 day rental when it was obviously 2 days. It also showed 300 miles that I anticipated, which also showed in miles included in the bottom. Today, the final receipt showed the extra miles fee was 38.22. I only drove, according the record, 278 miles. You charged me 2 days with extra miles, which didn't showed on the first receipt. However, I phoned your custom service, Your guy Steven said because I didn't send feedback on the first receipt there was nothing he could do. Dumping all faults on me doesn't make you right, and you called that custom service? According to Steven, he said i wasn't charged for extra miles but extra day. Though I didn't review the receipt, but I didn't do the data entry either! Steven can't do the math, then let me break it down for you: 38.22(extra miles) + 22(coverage) + 178(rental) + 2(Environmental Fee) + 5(Safe Trip Fee) + 4(fuel) + 31.40(tax) = 280.62 This is how much you charged me, 280.62 for 2 days, plus extra miles. You want to cheat, want to steal, that is fine by me. You can fool me once, but I won't give you another chance so you can fool me twice!

BARBARA HThe additional equipment, like the moving dolly, never seems to be available at the time of pickup. It is not just this location either. I have used Uhaul several times over the years and the dollys for moving or cars are never coordinated properly. You need to fix this.

Donna HWhen I reserved the uhaul the gentleman at the first place was helpful. My pickup location was changed to the above address. That guy was not helpful. The trailer had 2 bad tires when I picked up the uhaul. I was worried about them and thankfully I paid for the insurance. The company that came out to change the tires was awesome. I moved from bullhead city Arizona to Pikeville Tennessee. The truck itself performed awesome. The drop-off location was another 100 miles away, but I was able to find a place closer to where I live. Doris was fantastic!
Dawn CReservation was for 8 am. No one was there until 8 45 am. Other people were waiting too. Our truck bed was unswept with a tire bar laying there. Vendor complained that he shouldn’t even been open. So, why are u taking orders. Disgrace!!

I was misinformed that somebody would be there upon return/ nobody was there and I had to download the app which didn't work on my phone, So I had to have my sister come meet me to use her phone. The van was noticeably dirty and I had to clean and fabree it.

ASHLEY CI cut my finger on the gate latch pin I took pictures if it if you stand behind it its the one on the left side the pin has a real sharp metal barb that needs to be grinded down or smothed out
Feliciano GHad to drop off after hours. Just a body shop. Contract gave address to drop off but when I tried to return by phone, address was different. I called U Haul and told them I returned it to the contract address. Brian was very helpful. Computer clitch and he fixed everything. Was VERY EASY overall.
