Worst rental experience EVER. The facility was a mess. The truck was completly unsafe and not road worthy. This place and equipment is a disgrace to the corporation and needs to be addressed ASAP.SALVATORE N.

Horrible customer service. Truck I rented didn't have a ramp. (My fault I didn't know). Had it 20 mins before I realized it. Came back, employee acted like he could care less and I was just stupid. Wanted to re charge me for the next size truck. I didn't get what I needed that day, because there was no way I was giving him anymore $ and I was completely disgusted and frustrated. If you check my account - I've ordered multiple uhaul trucks this week. This truck and location was by far the worst location I've ever been to. The worker was so rude when he called - threatening to charge me triple because he was upset. The truck was DISGUSTING. Not sure how they even thought it was acceptable to rent out. It was filthy - damaged - and it smelled foul. The lot where you park the uhauls has the longest grass which makes it inconvenient. Did I mention the man who called was soooo rude?Michael C.

The actual UHaul area in the building was just boxes, dolleys, and pads thrown all around - nothing was neat and there was no real "actual" counter person to help with checkout. They were doing the checkout in between gas station customers and we were forced to wait multiple times while they helped others. We could not hear the clerk well due to the radio blaring and he seemed to be on the phone with someone walking him through the steps of rental. We were told to just go over to the area and pick what we had rented in addition to the truck. We were charged more than I reserved online and we were told that was a deposit that would be refunded upon return but this was not accurate. They also removed the insurance we had on the contract. It really was just a mess .... but the truck was there on time and clean so that was good I guess. This location was not our original reservation location. We were contracted to pick up in Flat Rock, Mi instead UHaul changed it to Wyandotte. We received emails and texts saying someone would reach out to us that day but never did. The Man who serviced me never took me out to the truck to do a walk around he just gave me the key and the receipt. He called me at the time it was supposed to be checked in threatening to charge my account for $500 because I was returning a little later than I expected. When I left the premise he charged my account for 4 days when it should have been one day. I was on hold with U-Haul for 30 minutes just for them to verify he over charged me. first. uhaul changed my reservation 5 times. then when i got to the lincoln park location they didn't have my truck so then they sent me to this location. finally got the truck. not at the price i was guaranteed on the phone with uhaul. then once i finally started moving. there was oil all in the back of the truck and some of my guys busted their ass with furniture because of it. honestly feel like i should just get reimbursed for the whole thing, if not i will NEVER use uhaul again.MITCHELL BRUCE C.

The tank was at 1/4 so we had to pay to fill it up. The gentleman in the station was extremely rude, telling us to "get out, go" the key got stuck in the ignition and we could not remove it.. twice. Overall, this was a disaster and we will never use U-haul again or this location.David C.

I dropped the rental truck off at 1:33pm and the receipt said I turned the vehicle rental in at 2:45pm. Not sure if there is a price difference, but if there is, that's wrong that they are getting more money.Travis M.

I want to be contacted about the $50 reservation guarantee. I reserved a 15-ft truck with the extendable walk up to the bed because I would be moving on my own. I rented the appliance that lease so that I can move everything up the ramp. While trying to complete my reservation online the reservation would not take and when I went in the gentleman told me oh that's probably because you tried to rent a 15 ft truck and we don't have any. This is after I had already reserved the truck earlier in the day and had a very limited window as to getting the job done that I needed and I was promised a 15-ft truck that did not come through. The back of the truck was very dusty and dirty and in the process of moving in a light rain all of that dirt turned to mud. The front of the truck was coated in cigarette ashes inside of the truck cab. For every large piece of furniture I had to move with only the assistance of my girlfriend I had to lift the object up onto the back of the truck because there was no extendable ramp. I have injured my back my shoulder and my neck. Telling me there was a reservation and boasting of a $50 guarantee and then not coming through with the promises made is very disappointing. I feel I should be compensated.HOMER R.

The brakes stuck and almost caused an accident, it was dirty, full ashtray, no dolly or moving mats in truck. Chargede double deposit, and quoted me . 79 a mile then charged me . 99. Not happy will not use this store again!!!LISA MARIE G.
