Easy pickup! Efficient.
Arthur EI have NO concerns with the Dealer. He went out of his way to help us. My complaint is with UHaul. Summary: Made reservation #1 on July 17th. H&H Towing, Geneva NY. Pick up 8/3 am. Got confirmation. Called the dealer on 8/2 to confirm. He had NO reservation for us. He put another #2 one in. Got confirmation. Arrived at dealer 8/3 am, signed into the app, no reservation. Called Uhaul, told 20 min wait for help. In the interim, the dealer happened to stop in and #3 helped us secure a truck. He asked where we would return, we told him and he said UHaul did not have that location listed, to return it as we planned and it would be ok. So we did. We returned the truck 8/3 pm to Uhaul Neighborhood Dealer Chucks Auto 977 PA 100 Bechtelsville PA 19505. I contacted UHaul via LiveChat 8/4 am to get some clarity on why this happened. I asked if the truck was listed as returned and they said no, that we needed to return it to a DIFFERENT location than we did as they were STILL unable to find the location in their records. Since I am 4 hours away, that was not going to happen. After speaking with several CSR who were polite but unhelpful, I was told to call a number. I did. It was not the number for the county in PA, they referred me to the correct number. As we were talking, I got an email saying the truck was checked in at the location we had dropped it off at. The one UHaul (Chuck's Auto) said they did not have a record of. Must have been a miracle. We have never had a good experience with UHaul, especially with the app but this one takes the cake. We are a small nonprofit with very limited funds. We are asking for a full refund for the poor service, an inaccurate reservation system, the lack of clarity from CSRs and the time spent trying to clear this up. Again, our complaint was not with the Dealer, It is with the company.

LILAH WMy pickup time was 8 am. I got there a little before 8 to pick it up on time as I was in a time constraint for moving. There was no one there at 8, or even 15 minutes after 8. I eventually called the number on the side of the building and the guy said he was “on his way in.” He finally got there about 20 minutes after the facility was supposed to be open. This set me off track for moving for the remainder of the morning. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The place was also very dirty and unkempt.
Sophia PEverything went great! they connected the car trailer to my truck, checked all the lights and did the walk-around safety check. I was out of there in just a few minutes and on the road. Nice trailer that towed like a dream. I have used UHaul in the past and will do so again in the future!

ANTHONY IThe amount of time it takes to actually be able to leave is absolutely insane. The customer service number is zero help, you get referred back to the website. It's too many steps to be able to actually leave and return it. Price is getting to high, I won't go this way away it wasn't a good experience.

Kali PI believe your office over charged me. When I called and spoke to a representative, I was told to take it up with the Geneva office. The representative was very rude to me. That's not good. I believe an error was made from the U-haul office in Rochester.

ROBERT FThere is a basic assumption the renter knows everything about the vehicle that is provided ie. dashboard controls, lights,etc. or what automatically occurs with the vehicle. It would be a professional courtesy for the business personnel to help/go over details of the vehicle. As it turned out, there was a mix-up with the vehicle/rental and we were given the wrong one as determined by the number on the truck and mileage. This was not discovered until we were at the drop off point. Part of this problem could be on me, as the print out of the contract was a small print and as such was difficult for me to read. A subsequent call to UHAUL indicated that there was indeed a mistake, and it was remedied by the company for mileage used. The representative was very respectful and helpful and adjusted the rental total price. As with any contract it is advisable to "read the small print" and question anything that is stated/printed so that possible problems do not occur because of the description of the vehicle being rented. The rental personnel should help out in this regard.

Matthew HI booked the U-Haul for travel of 240 miles accidentally and was told that I would be reimbursed for any mileage that I didn't use. I never received any money back and I used far less milage than I anticipated. It's disappointing to me!

AND no one bothered to tell me that the place I had to pick up from was closed on Saturdays and HAD to use the app. LUCKILY, the owner of the place just happened to be there and took care of me. I have dealt with U-Haul in the past and this was the worst experience yet. ANNOYING.

FRANK LExtra charges to use this return location. And, ultimately, it cost us over $1100 for a one way overnight from Boston to Cleveland. This is not on the Brighton or Geneva locations, but I would never, ever pay that kind of money ever again!!

Erick PLocation was fine, truck was in good working order just a little beat up, as to be expected with a rental truck. This truckdid however have a leak sonewhere in the roof of the cab that caused water to drip down back wall. Wasnt an iasue for me truck did as expected.

Robert TMy only complaint is that the cab of the truck had trash under and behind the seats and the in the trailer of the truck there was an old broken computer chair left in there. We ended up taking care of it so we didn’t have to get charged the $25 fee for it not being cleaned out.
