the pricing was bad, they would not give me an exact estimate until i was done using it. and they charged me a very high price for only one hour and a half. I was told $19 was the base price and i thought it would be somewhere in the $30 but it was much higher.

Felix SDisappointed with My U-Haul Experience Despite Booking Well in Advance I reserved my U-Haul in March for a scheduled pickup on April 29, well in advance to ensure a smooth and timely move. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. I arrived at the location at exactly 8:30 PM, only to be informed that the truck was still an hour away. The in-store representative had no concrete answers or solutions, and the lack of communication and coordination was highly frustrating. Despite having ample time to plan, it was clear that no contingency or backup arrangements were in place. This delay caused significant disruption to my moving schedule. To make matters worse, the truck I finally received felt extremely outdated. It made concerning noises during the drive, and air was leaking through what seemed to be a broken or damaged window. I’m grateful we arrived safely, but the condition of the vehicle added unnecessary stress. While I do appreciate that the representative had set aside a dolly for me, which was helpful, the overall service experience left much to be desired. It's not solely his fault, but better coordination and customer support are essential—especially when customers book weeks in advance. This experience was disappointing and did not meet the standards I expect from a company as established as U-Haul.

Mohit SI had to change the date and the size of van. Nothing was a problem, owners very accommodating. And it worked out so much cheaper than a removal company, went very well, I wouldn't hesitate to use this again. Very happy
TIMOTHY WVehicle leaking Non existent customer service at this location.. they are not helpful at all...lazy.. nobody checked the vehicle before or after until I told them to... take their uhaul license away ... they are embarrassing your brand
JEFFREY ASuper convenient- only a few blocks from home. Used for pick up of large items from Canadian Tire and Rona.
STEVEN RThe gas gauge was not at 1/2 like it was supposed to be and I was charged over $100 plus put $25 in gas to bring the gage past what it original was. Not happy. Also got no explanation.

RENFORD MI have faced several issues with its condition. The vehicle seems to be in poor shape—the idle control is not working properly from the engine side, and the seatbelt reminder keeps beeping even when the seatbelt is fastened.

IBRAHIM KTo close the truck trunk was very difficult. I think it was broken. Every time I had to seek help to lock the truck back door. That was very frustrating, other than that hi cop everything was great.

Heidi SThe staff argued over who would help us when we arrived for pick up. Then directed us to our truck by number. They’d parked their personal vehicles behind the uhual trucks. When we went back in to say something, they argued for a few more minutes about moving their vehicles, then proceeded to fix shelves and stock as they slowly made their way out of the store. We were told to park our vehicles a couple of blocks away on a road because they didn’t want us taking up spots for customers and it really wasn’t safe to leave our vehicles there anyways. Upon drop off we tried to pay by debit, as we’d had a friend book it using their credit card, we were told no it had to go on the credit card and it’d already been charged. Then they just turned away and ignored us. Not a pleasant place.

GRAEME FNo Dolly available. I had booked a dolly.Also, the truck is extremely noisy, you can hardly hear the person next to you and get a headache because of the noise.
ABHISHEK SThese guys need full training. Tried to charge me 200$ more than the quote because according to him the miles and km travelled mean the same thing. Which means he has been overcharging everyone who says they travelled 100km, an extra 60 km because "km and miles are the same thing". 100 miles = 160km.
Anton MWhat a nightmare when I got the truck it was filthy. Ashes and coffee spills everywhere The truck had 6miles to empty and when I got to Home Depot to pick up materials and opened the back it was filled with rotten garbage and broken furniture. The smell was disgusting and after paying for gas I never used it and didn’t get reimbursed I was set back three hours of switching vehicles and charged a total of 120 which is ludicrous. I definitely will not rent from them again.

Anderson GI was rented a van with a steel plate in the floor that was loose and sunken. Location clearly was not maintaining or even inspecting vehicles. My friend sliced his ankle on it. When I returned it I took him out to show him but didn’t make any offer to make amends. Hoping they fix it

Owner was asking to park specific parking location chooses by her even after I parked the vehicle. Also feel the owner was trying to scam. After checking the store reviews which suggested the same and does have bad reviews related to U-haul.

Wellington SAllow customers to park on property, not have to find parking on street and leave car on street. I was asked to do this, even though there was plenty of parking space on property. Did not make me feel like a valued customer. Would not return.

Allan MThe providers had no customer service standards. Left me waiting while holding my ID and credit card while there served other store customers... I had to demand that they return my cards. The when I inspected the truck had its lock on the back cut off. THey told me Id have to buy a new lock.... The clueless front cash guy went to the back and wasted another 20 min inquiring with some mangager in the back about the lock and I heard her say loudly Id have to buy a lock. I told them I wasn't going to buy a lock and to give me a different truck.. which they did. I had ordered moving blankets. They went out back and tried to hand me old dirty blankest of which some where soaking wet.. in the end I only took 10 blankets as they only had that many decent looking and dry ones... to save time. I had also ordered a furniture trolly. which they said they didnt have one... So I asked that it get taken off my bill. Will go to another provider next time. Absolutely not recommended.
David EI would never suggest Uhal to any friend or family. Had to drive 20 kms from the location where I booked the UHAL from. Insane, and had to pay extra money for miles because of that extra miles. Ridiculous!!! Never again

Brian KWhen picking up and dropping off the location on both times proceed to keep us waiting for 20 min if not more while hey keep on helping customers that constantly kept coming into the store both times we had to . I understand if they wanted to serve a couple customers that were in the line behind us but not every person that kept coming into the store as a customer we didn’t matter. We almost canceled due to them both times we had to demand them to help us cause they wouldn’t stop serving customers that came into the store after us best part there was two people working at the store . So as U-Haul customers we will never use that location or recommend that location.

James HIt is better if you charge in kilometres rather than miles. And fuelling instructions should be clear. I filled extra fuel in the van before returning it. Because it takes more than actually uses. There was not return of the money.

Only complaint I have was that the rental place told me a price and showed me the bill over his phone but when the bill showed up on my visa it was $30.00 higher. Not sure why and would like an explanation. Thank you.
