The truck was largely clean, but there was a small bit of grease and a couple of pieces of refuse in the truck. Otherwise, it was a perfect transaction, the gentleman who helped me at the location was very professional and kind. I'd highly recommend them.

There was only one person working in a variety store and it was very busy. When it was my turn to get truck there were several interruptions. People buying tickets, cigarettes, papers etc. There should be 2 people working when this busy. Instead of taking 5 or 6 minutes it was more like 20 plus.

In order to improve you can stop adding unjustified charges to the customer's bill after they have left the store. I was charged an fuel service fee, for actual fuel and for cleaning after moving one sofa for less than two hours. I refueled the vehicle to where it was before I left and returned it as clean as when I received it. Exceedingly poor way to treat customers. Ended up billing me $192.00 for less than two hours on a truck you advertise as a $19.95 rental.

When I stepped into the van for the first time the smell was like rotten eggs or manure. The odor inside was awful. Check and clean the van not only outside and take care that the gases inside closed spaces could be health threatening.

Extremely poor customer service at this location. Cashier was very rude, and dishonest. We had the Uhaul van for 2 hours, and drove it locally. When we returned the Uhaul, the same employee inspected it and then said there was an additional $10 charge...assuming it was the mileage, because there was no explanation, I went ahead and authorized the charge, then when I looked at the receipt to verify, he said the gas meter wasn't where it was supposed to be...ALTHOUGH IT was...then I argued why he didn't advise me of that in the beginning...literally an Esso next door, I could've put more gas.. Anyway, I will never ever, return to this location. This individual was very shady, and had a bad attitude from the beginning.

Not used to driving a truck but the alignment seemed out. Inside of the truck had coffee spill on driver side. Contract was not fully reviewed with me.

Learn what good customer service means. Don't use a convenience store to rent out vans. Totally ignored while they served customers buying worms, cigarettes and lottery tickets. Told me to step aside .while he serves his real customers. Made me take a picture of mileage and gas instead of him checking it. Don't go to 183 Colborne st W in Brantford. I had booked my van at another location a month prior and at the last minute switched locations for pick up. Not typical of my rental experience in the past but this was brutal.

Rep was very in friendly, did not help with my issue. Told me it was not his problem and to contact Uhaul directly. When I went into the store he didn’t help me and get out of the store as quick as possible, while helping me helped out customers. Deylaying me. Not a pleasant experience, will not return there.

My U-Haul was not delivered to the correct location and I had to drive across town to get it, but no one informed me that its location had been moved. Luckily, I booked the U-Haul, as I do with many things in life, well in advance to compensate for the incompetence of other people, so luckily we did not miss our scheduled time of arrival. However, if I was a less organized person, we would have arrived late to present a stage play, which would certainly be unacceptable. If you deliver your truck to another location, a heads up would be appreciated. Otherwise, great service as usual.

Make the deposit amount clear at time of order online. Luckily my son had enough to cover deposit because I did not. (the cargo van was used to move a bed for me - Brandon's mum). Being on a limited income, it is important to know up front costs in big bold numbers right off the bat. I only got a receipt for what was quoted upon order reservation. I saw nothing about a double deposit etc. Otherwise, a good experience. I desperately needed a way to get a bed from one place to the other as I did not have one. Thank you! We have another reservation for end of December 2017 to fully move from one place to the other. I would like to know exactly what deposit will be required for that time, please.

lazy dont know if he really wanted to do his job and i went in the store to do paperwork and finalized the payment and i even tried to hand him over the receipts and he said he didn't need to but just to know if the fuel was at where it was when i picked it up and basically dismissed me. he cant make us pay that ridiculous fuel bill when he dismissed us without checking because we actually arrived at the store and realised we had forgotten to put fuel and we went to husky gas station not too far from the store on colborne and put fuel in

It is a Variety Store an I guess understandably so the store Customers came first over our Rental however the gentleman working by himself, did his best to fit us in inbetween the other customers! Overall not a bad experience!

Express Online Check-in either is not every express or they didn't have anything ready. I still had to go over everything; how far I was going when I'll be back, what equipment I needed. I had to get my own truck out. It was parked between a sign and another truck and there was a street light behind me. Good thing I'm comfortable driving a 10ft truck or else I probably wouldn't be able to get the truck out. I don't think the owner would be able either. They need a maybe choice. Over all the truck was clean. Some garbage in the back, a door stopper. I might recommend this location but will probably recommend the location down the road

No one came out to note mileage or do a walk around for existing damage. I requested two types of dollies and blankets. Nothing was on the truck. When I returned the truck I was told I was to have grabbed those myself. This was not made clear to me upon pick-up. I'm not sure how, given that we didn't check mileage at the outset, and a fuzzy camera picture (I was asked to take) was relied upon for accumulated mileage the fee was accurate. I will never return to this location.
