Very bad costumer service. They charge miles that I didn’t drive.

victor vThis place is not in keeping with the U-Haul public face. The U-Haul portion of this somewhat sketchy convenience store was sort of an after thought. Overall, not a positive experience. I am still renting from U-Haul (just today in fact), but am renting from a different, fully dedicated location.
STEVEN FThere are trucks available but there is no parking service for your car and that limits you because you cannot leave your car while renting a truck for a short time. You will have to go with someone to take your car.
JOSE AThe representative that handed us the keys was friendly and helpful. However, truck DC5891G hasn't been cleaned in months apparently - the cabin and bed are completely filthy. In addition, the truck was parked head-in at a busy street with no side visibility (blocked by other u-haul trucks), making it quite dangerous to pull out of the parking space, as you have to back out with no visibility at all.

GARY MWell first of all they took a deposit and i haven’t gotten back yet it’s been a whole day and a half. The guy was friendly but they don’t even have a place for you to park your vehicle when picking up rental the truck
DARRYL MEverything was good overall, but I was incorrectly charged for 50 miles of driving. When I picked up the truck, the odometer showed 79,333 miles (I took a photo). I only drove about 15 miles, so this charge seems like a mistake. Please check this – I’ve already submitted a request with proof. Hope it gets resolved fairly.

MARIA MThe customer service was below bad. The guy behind the counter at return was extremely extremely rude and did not want to explain the the bill to me. Instead he told me to “figure it out because it is simple on the paper”. I was not allowed to ask any questions because I was told “he could not help me” and I should just wait 24 hrs to see what charges would be billed. I told him I need to understand the number being charged and was not helped at all. The guy at the counter was beyond rude. I would never return to their store. Ever

ALEJANDRO Athe main problem is that I came to the location at 9 am, but there was no one there. I tried to figure out how to pick up my van, I had to call support and ask them to solve this. after 40 minutes of negotiations, I had to go to another location and pick up the van there. I am very upset by the behavior of the employees, who did not come to the location and did not give me the van that I reserved 2 weeks ago. I didn't want to argue with anyone, I wanted to transport things for my family, and in the end I lost a lot of time. They also wanted me to return the van at 2:00 PM, but I didn't have time because of their mistake. When I started talking to support again about extending it, they answered that I should call the location and resolve this issue myself. At that moment I was driving on the highway and it was not safe, I asked them to resolve this issue and clarified that they were late in issuing the van by at least an hour. If possible, I would like to receive a refund of my money. Thanks in advance.
Yulii TI put a $122 deposit for one day then I extended it for a couple more a hours & the guy were I rented from asked me for another deposit of $70 & Its been two days & I haven’t received any email with my receipt or got my deposit back nothing

RUDETTE BI was charged Twice for no reason. The truck was low on fuel,almost empty.And I was charged for fuel!Horrible service.

Tina MThe truck I was given for my 1000 miles trip was a complete death trap. The alignment was completely off and the front driver side tire was terrible unbalanced which caused the wheel and truck to shake violently. Had to pull off the highway and wait an hour and a half for assistance. Then a few hundred more miles into the trip I had the rear tire on the same side completely blow off causing me to have to wait on the side of the highway again for roadside. I can’t believe this truck was sent out on the road without being serviced.

Marlene COnly issue was that the truck was given to me almost empty. I only drove five miles in total which was reflected on the bill, yet I was billed for 8 gallons of gas which cost $38. Does not make sense.
Jonathan CThey should’ve checked the truck prior to allowing another person to rent it. The inside smelled bad and had what appeared to be oil or grease on the driver floor. The AC was broke along with a vent. My father who was in the vehicle almost had a heat stroke due to the AC not working. We had to stop several times while driving to take in fresh air. I usually have a positive review but this was simply unacceptable and I expect to be contacted.
