This area has very poor cellular service so trying to check in with my mobile device was a hassle and took almost 45 minutes even after arriving early. Provide wide so customer can check in faster so they aren't wasting their reservation time that UHaul doesn't seem to give back even after you see we get the keys late.Latefa C.

The teller was very rude and disrespectful and almost got her feelings hurt. I really needed this item right away because the place I needed to be was closing at a certain time and she skipped me and instead she assisted her friend I'm assuming the young gentleman was to her which I felt was bad customer service since she never apologized especially after the manager mentioned to her that I was awaiting first in line but she just carried on and when it was time to service me, she then used the words get over her as instead of â€œ my apologies sir how can I help you?â€ I enjoy utilizing these convenient equipment when available but if she's there, I will take my business elsewhere because I ended up having to bring the trailer back since the place where my motorcycle was closed by the time I got there which was maybe 35 min away. To describehow she looked, she was a Latina short obese woman short and sloppy looking with a soft but squeaky aggravating voice at the BP store in Avon Park off of hwy 27JOHNNY N.

The staff was great however the truck was filthy inside. Food crumbs on the dash and seats, food wrappers under the seats candy in floor plastic cup behind seat bottle of wine under seat etc. I cleaned it up as I rented it for a week. U haul is going down hill. SadMatthew S.
The truck was dirty, had my grand baby inside. We got sick because there were bed bugs and ROACHES INSIDE. Absolutely gross, radio barely worked. It felt like the transmission was slipping. The lady that rented me the truck didn't actually want to rent it to me, she told me NO SEVERAL times stating someone was renting it the next day, and I expressed to her I only need it for local purposes and would bring it back, she told me NO AGAIN UNTIL I CALLED THE FEILD MANAGER, made me feel really uncomfortable, like she didn't want to rent to me because of my color which is BLACK!!!tamarind H.

Ensure all damage ie documented prior to pickup, unit is clean of all debris and most of all tires are inflated to proper psi. Some customers do not have air compressors like I do. Tires were rated 50 PSI and cold PSI pickup was 15. What if a customer picked up this unit, not inclined to check and drove off. Tire failure, poor service guy, stranded customers, negative reviews. Pick up location should have a tire gauge for pre delivery.Edward W.

We rented a 12 foot enclosed trailer for one day and it's at a gas station. when we picked up they were busy waiting on gas and food customers. They could not free up anyone for 40 minutes. That was ok. So we used it for 5 hours and brought it back around 4:30. The place was a madhouse. I waited a half hour then the priority was station customers and no one could help me. So I asked a girl behind they cash register, what they wanted me to do and she told me to drop the trailer myself as they had no one to free up. I showed my papers and she had no time. I dropped the trailer and went home. today I get a call saying I was late and the wanted me to return the trailer. After a heated exchange the woman said she'd check into it. My point is if they can't handle the business don't rent uhauls. Your reservation service picked them for me and you should know who's representing uhaul!!!!!!Stephen R.

The size I prebooked was filled with blankets so had to get another one. This was had NOT been cleaned out, the gal who was very nice and helpful was working the register at the Marathon station so had to wait , no one except her and myself (64y/o) to put trailer on hitch (UNACCEPTABLE), then had to return to different place per text . The truck was damaged on both sides. The windshield had so many bugs on it I had to clean it myself before I left. The interior was extremely dirty, grease on the steering wheel and seats. The drivers side window crank was broken. The speedometer and the odometer did not work. We had to drive thus truck over 1000 miles in this condition. I feel like we should be compensated for the condition of the truck as we paid for a clean truck in good repair.David P.

The vehicle was poorly maintained and unclean. They also misquoted the gas in that tank from previous drivers that was not filled, it was half filled and it cost me $9.00 worth of gas for 18.5 miles. I was charged $14.00 for insurance which was never discussed. On top of all of this the person running the register made me wait 15 minutes while they ate their breakfast at 7:45 saying the station was not open to U-Haul until 8. So we waited 15 minutes outside while she ate. Then the pre-check in was useless as it took an additional 30 minutes to get the vehicle. I will never use U-Haul at this location ever again.Edward T.

The truck was filthy. Had empty bottles from previous person and crumbs/dirt throughout seats and cup holders. Had to take home and clean interior myself. Had to gather my own dolly near the dumpster. Would not recommend renting from a U-Haul where the main priority is not renting vehicles...Brandon Y.

Equipment is not easy to access Equipment was rented and paid for online but not available at time of pickup : Dolly was paid for in online reservation but location had ZERO available - even though three of us at the counter had reserved and paid for use of one. Furthermore, no refund or credit could be issued by person in charge at this location. Positive comments : while not well organized or accurate as to their on-site inventory - ALL people I dealt with at this location were very nice, courteous, and friendly. They appeared to be helpful. Positive comments : I experienced a flat tire on my loaded trailer while in use. The roadside assistance was AWESOME. Quick communication to request for help and timely follow-ups. The HELP / resource took longer to respond than anticipated but was very courteous and refused my offered tip. Excellent roadside service department !Donna B.
