KEELY EThe entrance needs to be marked, it is not at all intuitive or easy to find. One does not assume that the entrance to an auction hall is where you go to get your rental truck

TERRY KTell the next customer this rental place will charge for gas regardless. I took note of the gas level upon leaving. I put 40 miles on the vehicle, then was diligent to replace the gas I used (slightly over 3 gallons if 13 mpg) upon return. Then they charged me 100% on top of what I put in. I called them, was told I’d get a call back and didn’t, and never will. They’ll hope I’ll forget but I won’t. It’s not the money, it’s the principle. No call back is poor customer service too.

EMILY CBetter directional signage on site would be a big help. Getting from the parking lot to the actual business entrance took some exploring. Eventually you slide in through a partially opened rollong gate in a security fence.
WILLIAM GOur truck was leaking oil, and the low engine oil came on right after we loaded it. We called to fix the issue, they had no other 10’ trucks, and could only offer a 15’ truck. Their only other solution was to call roadside and have them help us. We had to drive cross country, and were towing a trailer so this wasn’t a solution as it would cost us even more in gas. We called roadside many times, they didn’t show up for 4 hours, and to the wrong location so we never got assistance. We also tried to get it resolved with another uhaul location, but no one could help as we hadn’t rented it from them. It continued leaking excessively throughout the 4 day trek, which was stressful. We had to stop several times out of our way, fill it up with oil ourselves and hope for no further issues. Now we’re trying to get compensation, but that has also been difficult.
JESS VMy uhaul app was extremely slow. It took me over 30 minutes to check in and return my truck. They also didn’t take the right amount off my card.

Todd HWe reserved the truck a week in advance. The day before the reservation we were notified via text the pickup location had changed. Approximately 20 miles from the original pick up location. When we asked about it they said there was nothing they could do. Immediately when we picked it up there was a warning for low tire pressure. This obviously caused the gas to be less than average driving 64 miles to new location. Not happy at all with customer service

My only complaint is that I did not realize that we had a mileage limit so we had an upcharge to cover extra miles. We used the truck to pick up a piece of furniture at a store and were charged an overage for extra miles.
Debbie WThere should be training on how to properly clean the interior of the cabin. Using Clorox disinfectant wipes or spray should be the most basic of cleaning requirements before a truck is to be rented to another customer. And no customer should find trash or cigarettes inside the cabin of a U-Haul they are about to rent.

David STruck was full of dog hair under the seats, bottles of water and misc items under the seats. This truck ran hard !!! Even on flat land much less through the hills it was awful and loud. I tried to call lot I picked up from they said keep driving till it broke down. Then call U-Haul because you don’t help move belongings from truck to truck…
sharon sPlease inform all customers that if they are dropping off after the site is closed that they can push open the gate. I had to patiently wait outside the gate in a very not so nice area until i could get ahold of someone. Also, place the return lock box in an area that customers will actually look for it. It also is right next to a giant pile of trash that smells like something died in it. Oh and it’s BEHIND the building that is inside the gate. Doesn't even look like it’s attached to the same building you rent to U-Haul from. I spent 10 hours moving, and then had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with support just to figure out how to return the truck. I will not be recommending this location anymore, do yourself a favor and go to the one on East Broadway. For a manager in the customer service industry, this was the worst customer experience I have had moving. And I truly am not one to complain, making it that much more frustrating.

Chiquita TThe pick up gas gauge was nearly empty, I returned. It was a significant amount more gas than what I picked it up at, yet the receipt is reflecting the opposite. Customer service is a waste of time. This portion of the review has nothing to do with the drop off location, it is for U-Haul in general.
