you cost us a lot of money because we had to pay salaries for 2 days. The only compensation we received was one free day, still had to pay all the miles for 2nd day. truck was not where we were told it would be for pick up.BRENNON P.
Rented a 26â€ truck and when I arrived to pick up the vehicle.. they told me that the 26â€ was not available. Ended using a 20â€ because I had no time to find and go to a different location. I ended putting 50 more miles because I had to doble the number or loads. But the $50 dollars U-Haul offer to guarantee the availability of the equipment... no one knows anything about that!David F.

The person running the location was apparently picking up another renter's personal vehicle or something, so he wasn't there for about 30-40 minutes. Once he did get there, the process was relatively quick.JEFFREY D.

No one was available at the office. Office was apparently closed for Labor Day. I was also not given instructions on how to fill out drop off in the event the office was closed. Did not know what instructions were until vehicle was locked and key was in the drop box. Poor instructions on the part of the renting location. Needs to be better verbal communication for those of us who are older and not as savvy in using web sites and electronic data entry. In the rental instructions no where was mentioned about taking care a picture of the odometer reading at dropoff if the location was closed. Plus toll free number has too long of wait times. My time is valuable just as everyone else.Leonard F.

He could not figure out how to hook up lights even though I told him it was near the spare. I hooked it up when I got home. But he was very personable and professional. Would definitely go back!Debra C.
Recommend with hesitation. The employee was friendly, but it appeared he didn't do much UHAUL business. It took over 45 mins to have him process my rental and get me out to the truck. Once there, he told me that he "didnt have the 24 furniture pads that I had ordered." I then got into the truck and the gas tank was a full needle width below 1/2 tank, but the rental form indicated half. Then the employee told me he had called a neighboring rental location that had pads. I drove there, and not only did they not have pads, they didnt even know I was coming. I suspect he called a corporate number and not the other location directly. I then drove back to his location where he said he was going to get pads, and he got me approximately 6-7 and at that point I had to be on my way. I had to have these since I was leaving same day and transporting mostly furniture. Also, the overall delay cost me about 2.5 hours of a delay. Throughout the experience, however, the employee was friendly, and genuinely trying to help me. I just think he was a little overwhelmed. I called UHAUL on my drive to report that I was not going to have the 24 blankets to return on my drop off, and all she could offer me was a 20 dollar refund for the pads? I wasn't looking for a money handout, but she didn't seem too interested in helping.Robert W.
