Went back wednesday, no one at uhaul counter, After 10 minutes of waiting gas attendant told to see girl inside conv. Store. She got me outta there. I received a call from a man at this location threatening me and telling me he was calling Uhaul to report me for trash that was left in his parking lot which was not me. When I called him to ask what he was talking about he screamed at me on the phone, blamed me for the spray paint as well as telling me that. Completely unprofessional and do not recommend ever!!!! While I was picking up my trailer, another woman was there to pick up her truck. She was told that her truck wasn't available because the equipment wasn't returned by the prior customer. The manager made no effort to locate her another truck, which left her without the committed truck that she had reserved. He basically said "sorry, it's not my fault." I found this completely unacceptable and would therefore not rent from this location again in fear that the equipment I reserved may not be available when I arrive to pick it up.David G.

The location was fine. Service was very good and accommodating. The process of the online check in really needs to be more streamlined. In fact, most of the process should be part of the reservation process, ie the scanning of the drivers license. The check in process took so long that it cut into my reservation time by 30 minutes. Most of the waiting was due to the verification process of my license so that I could get the combination for the lock box to get the keys to the rental.CHRISTINA V.

I will never use the online version of pickup ever again. I was originally supposed to pickup the truck at 10 am. I didn't get a response from anyone until almost 11. I ended up going into the location after adjusting my reservation to a standard pickup.Christopher H.

I was over overcharged $33.95 on my credit card. I was charged for an additional rental day and I was charged twice for Savemove. I turned the key over to the woman who rented me the truck at 6PM on Saturday night, my wife was with me when I did it. I also took a photo of the mileage which is time stamped as well. The location itself was fine. The app to sign the truck in and out? Absolutely useless and horrible. The staff had to help because I kept getting error after error and it was horribly slow. I was so fed up I almost said fuck it and cancelled the reservation. Personally, we spent way too much money renting the truck for three hours anyways!Benjamin I.

I got the sense from the start that this was not going to go well. The man who set up the rental was working with and training a woman on how to check people out. I asked when the store would close so I could return the truck while they were still open. I was told 4pm. I returned at 3:30 and the woman who was being trained was there. She checked with two guys hanging around the garage and they said to just put the keys in the return box. I asked if there was anything else I should do. The woman told me I was all set. I now see that there is a $20 charge for an After Hours Service Fee. I returned the truck during operating hours. The person at the station just did not know how to check me out. This was a terrible experience and I got charged for a service I should not have been charged for. I will not use this site again.Bryan B.

We reserved a 15' truck to be picked up at Depot Car Wash in Whitinsville, MA. When I went to pick it up, it wasn't there, nor did they have any record of it being reserved. There was also an elderly woman there experiencing the same problem. They were helpful and located and reserved one for me down the road at Helen's Garage in Uxbridge, MA. Both locations were helpful and got me what I needed. But U-Haul cost me about an hour with their broken system and I paid for boxes twice, so I will be expecting a refund for those as well. Fix your system. Don't tell customers vehicles are available unless they are. When a customer makes a purchase, make sure the location is updated so a customer does not pay twice. It's 2020, you shouldn't be having 2002 problems.Shawn H.

This site was also servicing auto repair clients and I was asked to wait a bit before they could finish my pick-up which I wasn't thrilled about. The trailer I reserved was not the trailer he wanted to give me. Was not helpful at all. We have had some snow and ice 3 days prior to renting and the trailers were stuck in a bit of ice. Employee didn't want to move trailer and told me â€œhe wasn't cleaning anything off or around â€œ the trailer. He almost made me rent a older trailer that was buried in snow that wouldn't be safe to use. Because he didn't want to rent the newer model. It took almost 45 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I finally left. The employee at helens made it such a horrible experience. I would rather drive 40 minute to the Northborough location than deal with Helens again.Louies L.

I reserved at the Grafton location telling him what I wanted for 5 days only to find out that it was only for 24 hrs upon pick up which altered my plans dramatically-having to find storage and reserve another truck which I ended up cancelling & having to make alternate plans which disrupted everything. I'm very upset with the overall experience. I order a 26' foot truck to be picked up in our town of Franklin, MA and received multiple confirmation notices. The day we went to pick of the jump the location said not only do they NOT have the truck we order but they have no trucks at all. We have to drive 45 minutes out of way into another state to pick up a 15' truck. We didn't receive any money for the difference, no apologies, and no explanations.Joe C.

This experience was overall just hard to pick up. It was not clear what was wanted at several points in the pick up and while talking with a representative over the chat. I had hoped to order a 10' or 15' truck but online was only given a 20' option. Upon arrival there were 2 15' trucks as well as a 10' one. I also asked for a Dolly which was not provided assuringly because there was no staff but I was charged anyway.Alison G.

I can not put everything in a few words, but I would hope to get an e-mail showing that my cc has been re-credited, per e-mail or a phone call. I did receive a e-mail showing a 0 charge on my contract that was never issued. As you know, I was delayed at your Uxbridge location for close to 2 hours. I was there from 12PM-2PM+-. Prior to returning the unit this morning at 8am, I was on hold with customer service for about an hour with 3 representatives. The last cust service rep was the only helpful and courteous rep that I had spoken to. After I spoke to the 1st rep (I wanted to know if I can return the unit to Somerdale) and 2nd rep., they both told me to call the Uxbridge location. The 1st rep told me that my reservation was cancelled. My talk time was short and my wait time was quite exaggerated. The equipment was fine, but I must say, I rent equipment often and this is the worst customer service I have ever had from a national company. As far as the dealer goes, he was a nice guy, but I do not think that he was knowledgeable with how to deal with his problem at hand. In addition to the delay and lack of professionalism, this was the 1st time, after renting many trailers, that I was asked to hook up my own trailer. Nobody even checked to see that it was hooked up properly and that the trailer brake, lights, etc. were working. This is a hazardous protocol.CLIFF K.

Helens garage is wonderful. The only issue that I have with my rental is that I paid $55 for 4 hours but UHAUL felt the need to put $100 hold on my debit card. I was told I would get my bakance right back when I returned the truck. That was 2 days ago. I just wish the guidelines were more clear to the salesmen. Individual at store unaware of how the phone app worked. Waiting area cold, dark and dingy. Truck parked very far from office. No effort to explain the process or help the customer understand the complete process. When I entered the building the employee was talking to two women. After not being recognized he asked me what I needed. The entire time he was talking to his daughter and wife and ignored me. That attitude and the lack of knowledge of how the to help me with the rental process was the lowest experience I have had at any U-Haul over the years. However, my phone reps were fantastic, accommodating, understanding and knowledgeable.Marie A.
