THOROUGHLY check trucks upon return BEFORE renting to the next customer. Telephone and email Message left for location manager and no word from him. Considering the seriousness of my complaint, You would think a response would have been made immediately.Demetria D.

I had a scheduled pickup and wasn't told that the only way to get the truck was to download the app because the location of the pickup didn't have counter service. After downloading the app and going though all the setup I wasn't given a code to get into the lockbox. So I had to go back to the office of the carwash to ask if there was anyway someone could help and the mgr. on duty said he hadn't been trained on the U-Haul system and couldn't help. After waiting on hold for over 20 min. I saw where you could text and started texting. The person form U-Haul said there "wasn't any lockboxes at the location" where I was at and I needed to go inside to get the keys. The manager at the carwash said he had asked for someone to update the system because there had been problems in the past. I had to wait over 40 min. just to get my truck - if I hadn't already paid for the truck I would have walked off. I only had a small window to load the truck Thursday night for the delivery heading to Florida on Friday evening and I wasn't able to make that window... I ended up having to load Friday night and drove through the night as long as I could and finally stopped in MS to get 3 hrs. sleep just to meet my deadline in Florida. The other party involved in the relocation has a reservation this week and now they are concerned that they will have the same problem and may have to seek other means of travel. I was told there would have been some type of compensation but since I had already paid there was nothing that could be done. If I had called they said they could have helped... I did call 3 times total about this and still haven't talked to anyone. I hung up after 20 min. or so the day I picked up the unit while standing in the parking lot and again after leaning... I have a screenshot of how long I was on hold one 2 of the 3 calls. The last call was over 40min. and I never got through I was out the cost of a Hotel room and lost a day of travel due to not being able to load the freight guys at pick up tried their best and without them I would have ended up leaving without a truck - they ended up getting into the boxdavid R.
