The truck looked fine when I picked it up. But it broke down half way through the trip. It was over 2 hours till I was back on my way. Because I arrived late, I had to pay the people waiting to unload the truck extra for waiting for the 2 hours. The mechanic detemined it was a computer error and was able to reset the computer. It seems from info online, there was a recall for this problem on this series of trucks. I would think U Haul would have had this taken care of at heat time. I thought U Haul might contact me to offer something for my losses due to the truck breaking down, but nothing yet, so I guess I'll have to contact them.

Always have equipment available so they never run into a situation where reservation can not be granted, due to overbooking

Store operator was late to work, I wasn’t able to pick up the u-haul until 10:20 when I expected to get it at 10. Truck had no gas and had to put $75 worth of gas when only driving 20 or so miles. My driving didn’t even move the gas gauge. $15 dollar gas credit was not sufficient. Would not rent again.

We ordered blankets and they were not available. We were told the location requested them, but the regional manager ignored the requests.

Make sure that they do not double book a vehicle. I had reserved a specific truck that was cheaper and I got there at the specified time. There was no vehicle yet and was told the vehicle was still out if they would be back shortly if I wanted to wait. Well I waited like 40 minutes and the person never came. So the worker suggested I take the bigger truck at the more cost. I did because I just needed to get my move done.
