I originally rented a truck from the location on Chantilly. When I arrived the guy told me the previous renter had called that morning and said he needed it for 5 more days. he basically gave me a number and said call them. No help or sympathy for my situation. The guys in Prattville did all they could to help and were very kind. Gave me all they had left. The truck was huge and banged up but did the trick.Susan K.

This location was very busy with servicing there gas station customers and I was told just to put my Uhaul key on the counter & they would email me my final receipt. I did get the receipt about 2 hours later so I guess their customer service was good.Sidney H.

The truck was not as described. Old, beat up truckâ€”no A/C and a complete piece of junk. I returned the truck with more gas than required and they added another 7 gallons. I took a picture of the ending mileage and the gas gauge before turning in the keys. Contacted U-Haul to file a grievance and provided proof and U-haul refuses to respond to the complaint. My next step is to file a grievance with the Better Business Bureau against U-haul and the Service Station that ripped me off!Rick D.

The guy at the counter was very sweet! The truck drove AWFUL!!! My original reservation was for a Montgomery location at 7:00 AM. It was changed to another location in another city at 8:00 AM! Didn't get truck until after 10:00!!! The person I spoke to prior to picking up the truck promised to get us our military discount, but that wasn't done and he was not there!!! Horrible experience that took us all day because of the way the truck drove!!!Sherlisa B.

Check the equipment to make sure the tires aren't bad, bulging and tread peeling, and leave customers stranded 3 hours down the road. We had not even picked up a vehicle to tow yet so the trailer was empty.Angela F.

We were rerouted to another city which caused 60 miles added to the trip. When I asked the agent if I would be getting extra mileage to cover the trip, he said he didn't know. I asked him to call someone and check and he said he did not have the phone number. He acted exasperated and like he didn't want to be bothered with us. I finally called U-Haul 809 number and they helped me get the extra miles added so I wouldn't go over on my mileage. Basically he want helpful at all nor knowledgeable about U-Haul servicesVICTORIADENISE B.

I'm thankful that the people representing you are terrific as your equipment is more than questionable and if not for the fact that I was pressed for time and needed to move stuff that time I would have said cancel my reservation. The only vehicle available so I had no choice but to take. There was something wrong with air intake and ended up using more fuel than it should have. The damage to truck was so bad that I was concerned I would be blamed making me a nervous wreck. I believe I should be compensated as everything was less than quality. Also as I stated above your staff at the location was terrific in that your AP did not work properly leaving me also wondering what to do!Jon G.

I was left stranded on the side of a road in a rural area for more than 13 hours! Road side assistance did not respond for over six hours . The only commendation i received was a few hours in a hotel from 4 a.m. the next day till 12 p.m. the same same check out extended 1 hour. No gasoline, food, nor discount.ELLA B.

1. If I make a reservation for 7am a month prior to pickup and you text me 1 day before and tell me it's at 5pm. What kind of fucking service is that? 2. The truck smelled like someone took a shit and burned a pack of cigarettes in the cabin. 3. There was sticky shit all over the floor of the trailer and it also smelled like ass. I will sooner buy a new fucking truck and trailer myself than ever use U-haul again. Worst customer service I have received to date. They were very busy...but got the paperwork done quickly and on time. Before the pickup in Prattville, I was helped by Brad at the U Haul center on eastern bypass in Montgomery who helped me get the vehicle in Prattville. The U Haul online service rep that called me and gave me a vehicle at the Legrand Star service station with vehicle present guarenteed made a reservation mistake. When I called Legrand Thursday the 12th the owner acted like I had lost my mind. He had no one way truck vehicle on site. Online rep screwed up. Brad at Montgomery fixed it. Kudos to him !!ROBERT H.

The first issue I had was that I booked and reserved my uhaul on line, however there was no notification telling me this location was closed on Monday 5 Jul in observation of the holiday. I had to call the 800 number for uhaul to have them to reschedule my truck pickup time. I was charged twice and trying to get resolution. You all should make sure to put your closure dates on your website.DIONNE G.
