I had issues with getting my truck with the app( it was my fault). I had to use the chat feature and they were quick to respond and help me fix my issue and be on my way. Returning the truck was a simple process.

BETH OTook me half an hour to complete online pick up. You need to shorten it. Like my driver information and all that can be done earlier or when I make the reservation
Curtis MNot sure where disconnect happened but the cab and the storage are had a large amount of dirt. The previous renter did not clean out the truck or box area. Also, the fuel gauge was only showing 1/8 amount of fuel. The rental receipt 1/4 which how the vehicle is to be returned. Again, the renter did not fulfill the contract. We ended up putting more fuel that necessary due to this. All of the above was discussed with Hertzog's Garage. We drive less mileage so our total charge from U-Haul was less but the extra fuel cause the rental to higher than anticipated. Let me go on recording saying this is no reflection on Hertzog's Garage. MICHAEL TThe inside of the truck had food and food wrappers on the floor. When I went to take a picture the app said I was over the amount of pictures I could submit. So I cleaned it myself.
KatieAnn KThe van was in very good condition, could have been a little bit cleaner, (dog or animal hair on the seats) otherwise ran great. The folks at Hertzogs Garage were very friendly, helpful and provided exceptional service, and would certainly use them, if needed, in the future and recommend them to others.
DAVID CIt was somewhat difficult to do pick-up and drop-off using my mobile device, but I guess that is par for the course since I chose a day the garage was closed. I also think I might have accidentally been charged double for the truck damage protection plan.

MICHAEL TThe app is very comfusing and not user friendly. Fortunately the owner stopped by at Hertzogs and helped us after hours with the pickup. Dropoff took forever with the app and didnt even get a confirmation that the return was done or payment was successful. I had to reach out to my bank to confirm. Fortunately Hertzogs agreed to verify amd confirm the return was completed for us as well. I would definitely rent from this location again. The app definitely needs some work though.

WILLIAM MMake the Mobile App check-in process a bit easier with less qualification check wait time. That should be done 24 hours in advance to assure no delays.
James FI can't rate because this location was closed on Saturday, I find it ridiculous to be charged the extra $20 for turning in the truck to a location that has no hours on Saturday

Brett BLast time we rented, no hand truck was available. This time, the location did not have moving blankets and we needed to run to another location to get them.
Christine KInclude the blankets people request. Also tell U-Haul to fix their app as it froze 4 times trying to return the truck and then couldn't dispute the padding charge as that option disappeared after I put in a new payment method. I had to call in to get it remedied. Such a waste of time.

ileana mEnable the use of the cruise control. It is a shame that you have a brand new vehicle and you cant use cruise control for 14 hours of driving. My legs cramped up SO bad. It is a little tight quarters in the front of the van and being able to give my leg a break with cruise would have been nice.

alan sThe mobile process was very obnoxious. It was extremely frustrating how many types of verifications were needed. As soon as I think it's almost over, you require a phone call to verify my identity? It struggled to find my location. It took a while to get the code. I was in a hurry to pick up something on a deadline and the process made me late. I even did the "log in ahead of time to save time" and it just asked the same questions when I was onsite. There has to be a better way.
Lawrence GThe return address I was given in the confirmation email was completely different than the one I had to drive to when I went to complete my mobile drop off of the U-Haul. I drove to address first given (Bella Italia) and then I went over mileage allowed having to drive it to a different drop off as I wasn’t of that until I went to complete the mobile return. I’d like to be refunded the extra charges honestly.
