Gas was incorrect, damage to ramp on truck we we unable to utilize ramp, truck was not clean in back area. Very disappointed in this experience but they were the only uhal available within a reasonable distance.

The stop sign designation required me to pay over $300 in additional mileage fees to dead head the truck back. Not ideal, when u haul could have easily replaced the vehicle.

Improve pricing. I spent twice as much on an in town move with 4 movers moving about 6 rooms. This move cost me about $1000 for 1 room of furniture that I had to move myself simply because it was a one way move. I returned the truck before it was due with fewer miles than estimated and did not receive a refund for overage.

Darrel annoying he try to twist that my reservation was and I told him that it was the customer that didn’t bring the trucks bad I had to wait 30 min to be told I had go on th other side of town to get the truck it dirty and they left a couch in the truck as well I ask them about the dolly for my appliances and they told me it was at hillbilly’s mall then I went to them after I got back the airport had to bring the truck back to get the car pulley as well and I gave him my nephews license to be added on Darrell. Acted like he didn’t want to , I told him that this was to cover him and myself as well as for haul so he couldn’t figure it out how to ad him so I he had to do do the whole application over and I got billed separately when he should have let got everything at the other location so I did not finally get through loading the truck till 9:00 at night and made me late on leaving . But he sure knew how to bugging me do stuff on my phone that he wanted me to do but because of that I didn’t do do till late I think

Just make sure the gas is where it say it is on the right mark and when you go in and out on the app to be able to put where the gas tank is really at. Other than that the service was perfect.

I was charged 1.29 cents a mile in which she stated my rate would be 99 cents a mile the so called weekend rate.i received the Uhaul after 12.00noon on 12-28-2022.i returned 12-31-2022 before noon.Very disappointed with their services.

My whole bed set got ruined. Nobody told me it leaked. So now I have to buy a new bed. Can’t sleep on mildew. The service was great. But, my stuff got ruined. Hopefully I’ll never need this service again.

The truck had a busted windshield, no muffler and the people didn't know what they were doing. Charged me for three days when I only needed it for one day.

My original pick up location ( Triple X Auto sales Franklinton, La) could not accommodate my pick up despite my calling ahead to verify what time I would arrive and their hours of operation. Very inconvenient. Cost me an extra 2 hours of travel time to pick up at different location.

The truck was dirty with other persons trash . Also the uhaul truck leaked and got all my boxes soaking wet ruining all my stuff that was in the area . Boxes were poring out with water as we were unloading the truck . Also I didn’t get my $50 credit added to my account .

The pick up location was ok. I spent more time listening to the family’s weekend plans more than I cared for. They were nice. The problem was within a couple of hours the order was canceled. So y’all had no money and I had your truck. We called and corrected and got charged $200. More for our effort.

Earlier in my suggested improvement written during the return, I forgot to mention that two of the three cig lighter ports don’t work. I discovered this issue due to the battery of my phone dying as I was using it to navigate during my move. Not having use of my phone caused an incredible delay in all needed to be down.

This experience was a really bad nightmare. I reserved a 15' truck back in April 2022. My original pickup location was a UHaul store near my home. A few days before pickup, I received a text that my pickup location had changed to another UHaul store 5 miles futher from my home. on June 4th, when I arrived to pick up the rental truck, the owner informed me that her location DID NOT HAVE A 15' TRUCK AVAILABLE because the air conditioner had gone out on her truck the day before. The UHaul owner spent almost an hour with a UHaul representative trying to find me a truck. The ones she located were over an hour and a half away, but I refused to have someone drive me an hour and a half to pick up a truck because of UHaul's error, not to mention that gas is over $4 a gallon. They were finally able to locate a 26' TRUCK an hour away. I only needed half of that space, but I had no choice but to accept the substitute. Two UHaul employees very kindly picked it up and drove to the UHaul store where I picked up the truck 2 hours later. When the truck arrived, there was no dolly which I had also reserved. Plus, I am sure I spent more money ($103) filling up the 26' truck than I would have on the 15' truck I originally reserved. The trip to Birmingham went well, and the movers I reserved through UHaul were amazing. They moved everything in a very efficient and timely fashion and were just a joy to work with. Returning the truck in Birmingham went off without a hitch. The UHaul representative greeted me at the truck and took care of everything from there. Before this experience, I considered UHaul at the top of my list for my moving needs. I highly doubt that I will rent from UHaul ever again.
