Driver door did not work. Showed up at 8:30 to find out Depit only opened at 10:00. Tried to use app to check it out. Could not find out how to do it. That part was frustrating on moving day but overall the 15' truck was very handy to move.Mary F.
Staff at the Hiway Groceteria were friendly enough but inexperienced. Thet did not know anything about the uhaul trailer and sent me out for a cross canada tour with a bald tire and no spare. Thankfully the tire did not blow , which could have caused a serious accident. Also when it rained the uhaul trailer leaked water all over our clothes. The trailer was an older model which should have been taken off the road. In the future i will have to think twice before renting uhaul.TROY S.

Overall experience with the Uhaul was very bad. I didn't face any issue at Winler Location except for cleanliness of the truck. however, I booked the truck in person at 1675 Inkster blvd and staff at the location has no professionalism when dealing with the customers especially when it comes to solving problems.Ramandeep Singh G.
Well I paid for a 26 ft but switch to a 15-ft and I did not get my refund back I put in the gas that I was approved and they charged me the extra for being late 20 minutes and on top of that I had to pay a $15 late charge fee which cost me $130 in total I am not very happy with the service that they gave me and I find that this is very unprofessionalCameron K.

We have U-haul point in our town,but had to pick up and even drop off in other town. If you have no car in needed location it is your problem,not mine. I also paid for 2 ways to my town myself. And they gave me wrong truck))) I paid for 15" they gave 12". I didn't get it in time. So the worst Rental in everSergey B.
Horrible experience. We booked a uhaul rental truck as we were moving cities. A day before our booking, they told us they only had a smaller truck available. Major inconvenience for us as we needed to take everything in one trip and we had hired movers to help us. Then on the day of, after we loaded up the uhaul, the tire popped 10 minutes into our drive. This was around 4:30pm. We contacted roadside assistance. They said they would send someone to repair the tire. No one came. Hours went by. My husband was stranded in the uhaul truck alone without food, water, very limited reception, and no access to a bathroom for almost 8 hours. 8 hours!! After waiting on the phone for 30 minutes wait time each time, they kept reassuring us someone was on the way but no one arrived. No solution was provided to us. We were completely neglected and disregarded. We ended up finding a tow trucker around 11:30pm ourselves and begged uhaul to pay for the tow to get my husband home, as no other solution was being provided. In the end, he didnt make it home until around 2am. An entire day wasted. And in the end uhaul threw it back at us that they paid for an expensive tow (around $800) and that it makes up for the time we spent in the truck. No apology was given. We had to chase down uhaul representatives for compensation as our calls and emails were all being ingnored. Unbelievable. NEVER using uhaul or recommending to anyone. Also we dont believe the uhaul was inspected prior to giving it to us, as none of the staff I spoke to after the fact could confirm that it was checked.Ateeb K.

The truck was very unstable condition. The break was noisy and has to be pushed very hard unless not working. I was impressed we made the moving possible because of the condition of the truck. The staff at the location was super good though.Changku L.

The car carrier was full of snow and I had to borrow a broom from the personnel to sweep it off myself, Only to find an inch of ICE all over it, which I used a pipe wrench I had to bang the ice off.Dave F.

my uhaul experience been terrible. I called the customer service before i went to Morden since that's where they said i could pick up the truck i rented- and the customer service said "YES" for sure there's a truck waiting for you there. But when I get to Morden- there is no truck. Then they said go to Winkler- when I came there they said there wasn't a reservation made for me. Then I called customer service- 3 of them said they are not handling the area which is impossible coz that's the number which they said i need to call. plus we are already late on our move for 2 hrs. Finally a guy from customer service by the way he is good in his work- he was the only one who helped me that is really helpful said i have a reservation. So, we came back again to Winkler- they said Uhaul might have reserve it late that's why when I ask the last time my name wasn't there. And the other woman not the one who accommodated me ( the one accommodate me and process my reservation very pleasant woman) but the 1st woman who I talked to never apologetic not even sorry. So we are late for more than 2 hrs on our move. And because we are late - the scheduled finish of our move also late. I called u-haul if they could extend out time but they told me im gonna be charge for bumping if i don't returned the vehicle on tim which i think is ridiculous because I am not the one who had shortcomings on the transaction but I am the one who is suffering. I reserved a 5x8 trailer but by the time of pickup I only got 4x8 trailer and I was still changed the same amount as the 5x8 trailer and didn't get a refund.Noel Q.

Company name â€˜Grocetera' is not posted. Returns are presented to Western Union window within Tempo gas station store. Confusing. Service Rep started closed my contract on his phone, another persons contract was pulled in error. Reviewed, corrected immediately, very professional. System should have protected Rep from being able to make this human error? Truck steering is very poor, RR wheel shows signs of leak, reported on return.James W.

Given that we are in the middle of Covid 19 pandemic the unit was dirty/dusty and easy to see that it had not been sanitized from last use. I used a lysol wipe to wipe high touch areas down and it came away extremely dirty. Front left tire had no tread left on the outside with tire cords showing for about 8 inches of tire. Very unsafe. This should never have been let on the road in this condition.steve G.
I was charge for today only used it for one I dropped it off same day at 6 PM and was instructed by the lady that I signed a contract with that if I dropped it off after 6 PM that I didn't have to do anything. So I got the bill today and I was charged for two days and no one will answer the phone. I'm waiting till Monday to try calling them again. Don't understand why this happened.Ryan M.
The price was hidden fees, very disappointed, as the gas gage was on the middle, filled the truck back to almost the same level, even though, I was charged with an extra 70+ dollar. That's a very disappointing and not sure how to get this resolved. I wish you could give me a call pleaseMohd H.
I had reserved a trailer in month advance in the city. 2days before pick they call an tell me they do not have one in the city. They then send me to a country location 1hr away to pick up. Waste of my time reserving and leaving me scrambling last minute to get to the country location. Unprofessional service an no compensation for rerouted tour of the country pick up. Hard to answer. They served me well but because of U-haul's policies they couldn't promise me a vehicle. They kept saying we'll give you one unless U-haul needs it elsewhere. That makes planning hard and was quite frustrating.JOHN K.

-Make sure the trucks are filled up all the way and not 3/4 (to prevent any problems) -make sure tires are properly inflated to maximum -not have other trailers/moving trucks parked in front of each other to prevent waste of timeJessica B.

Upon booking, the Winkler location did not come up as an option and we would have chosen it in the first place. So I chose Morden as the nearest town. So we took it from the Winkler area to Morden and they didn't have room for it to be parked and refused to take it. So off we go to Winkler again where we were able to leave it.
