I couldn't turn on the heat. The selection knob wouldn't turn so having to drive with windshield fogging up wasn't good. And charging me for two days of rent wasn't very nice.

Upon booking, the Winkler location did not come up as an option and we would have chosen it in the first place. So I chose Morden as the nearest town. So we took it from the Winkler area to Morden and they didn’t have room for it to be parked and refused to take it. So off we go to Winkler again where we were able to leave it. The staff there were helpful and frustrated for our plight.

Hello, the cab of the truck was quite dirty. The interior windshield was so filthy I cleaned the outside twice cause i though it was the reason and the back of the truck was quite dirty.

The rental units should be at least as clean and orderly as U-Haul expects them to be upon return.

When original booking was made pick up was to be in Killarney. Got confirmation that uhaul could not be picked up at that location a week before. So new pick up was established to pick up in winkler. They should have changed mileage and explained things a lot better. Such a rip off for what we paid.

Would be nice to have exterior and cab clean for appearance fluid levels should be checked by business, renters do not always know how to do that, had to add oil to my rental truck before leaving the premises Overall was a good expierence

The employee who i was working with was new to uhaul and it took more than 40 mins to check out the equipment. I recieved no checkout at all, there were mats inside, and yard waste. I knew how to hook up the trailer, if i didnt i would have been screwed.

Reservation date was not honoured which caused a three day delay for my move. Huge inconvenience to drive out to winkler to waste 3 hours of my day when the original pick up location was Winnipeg. A car dolly wasn't even an option for me. I overpaid the fuel cost by $100, again no reembursment. Never again will I rent from uhaul:(

maybe a little orientation on how stuff works (never drove a truck before), but there are a lot of instruction signages posted on the truck. overall, very good! operator very nice.

Pick up location would have been more convenient if the truck was available in Winnipeg where I packed up my home. The adjustments for the early pick up day in advance and the mileage adjustment made the drive to and from Winnipeg reasonable.

Service at the Winkler location was terrible. Multiple errors, no apologies, a smug attitide and "we did our best". I don't know wjat they could have done to care less. After making errors they "tried to call" ... they had the corect number on file but my cell has no record of a call from them. No apologies, just denial and left with the feeling that we were an inconvenience to them. I can't believe how incompetent they were and no empathy at all. No attempt to correct multiple errors. I am surprised the move went as well as it did.

We appreciate that we were able to get the trailer we needed with only a days notice! We had a few issues with our pick up. The debit machine was not working so we had to pay cash. The small connectors for lights were bent and the trailer seemed like it was in rough condition. The location was fantastic in that they lent us a ball for our hitch.

Will not be using uhaul again. Made online reservation well in advance. Upon arrival for pickup, uhaul canceled our order and sent the truck we'd reserved to Winnipeg. They did not let us know, this happened the evening before our move. After a long evening of negotiations and locating a truck, found one out of the way at a different location, smaller than we'd ordered. Uhaul said we'd only have to pay for the truck and gave us a gas credit etc. A month after returning the truck after the move an unauthorized charge for fuel was placed on our credit card. We had to call and get it reimbursed but the whole thing should not have happened. Do not offer and online service if you are just going to cancel orders people are relying on for no reason at all and no noted. Terrible experience, will never use uhaul again, I realize this is not a direct reflection of the two locations we used but rather a head office error.

I would like to know if there is a refund for the allowed mileage which I didn't use. My contract had a mileage allowance of 1022 mi. At $0.40/mi. My used mileage was 907 mi. Representing a mileage savings of 115. 115 × .4 = $46.00 Where is the $46 that I should be receiving for not needing the allotted mileage?

I reserved a 5x8 well in advance to pickup may 15th to drop off in Saskatchewan may 18th. Two days before you notified that the 5x8 was not available and I could only get a 4x8 there or drive an hour away to get a 6x12. All was set for the 5x8, loaders etc. I saw the 4x8 and said okay. Then I was told they had a 5x8 but it had to be returned there, this cost me extra days charges, and all the planning turmoil.

The staff offered little explanation of extra charges. They charged me $7.00 for fuel without putting any fuel in the vehicle, how do they know how much is really used. If they are going to charge me for that, then they should refund me for being under my estimated kilometres. When I asked if the price was per day she said yes but yet I had to tell her how many hours I would need the vehicle. After I told her 6 she said I would be hit with late fees if I was more than that. This was one of the most frustrating transactions ever. I dont believe their staff is trained well enough to handle the job. I may use uhaul in the future but definitely will never use or recommend this location.

The only hitch that occurred was that when we went to pick up the truck after prepaying for it, there was a balance owing which was the taxes. These had not been included in our prepayment and caused confusion for both the staff and ourselves.

The trailer smelled of gas from a previous renter. The rear sliding door was very difficult to latch. Signal lights needed some work ... But we got the job done.
