The only thing I found hard was learning how to adjust the mirrors. Other than that everything went well it was pretty simple to understand and wasn’t hard for me to move all of my furniture and so forth into my new home. Definitely undermined the size of the U-Haul since I rented a 15 foot I thought it would be too small for all my appliances and everything, but it worked out in the end.

The truck was fine. The payment on the debit card that they didn't accept was still put on hold and the funds still have not been released back to my account. I put it on a different card basically paying twice for one truck rental. If the card isn't acceptable, why would it still put a hold on the card? Other than that, the experience was fine. Please fix that in the system and please release the funds back into my account!

Grover SHoffman's Outdoors was excellent service all the way around. It was U-Haul themselves who left a bad taste in my mouth. They forced me to pay $100.00 more than what was necessary then the East Petersburg location refunded the excess $100.00 via my bank card and it took 3 full business days before I got what was rightfully mine. U-Haul number 1!! Has no business charging their customers extra money based off the card that was used to pay. If U-Haul insists on charging extra deposit money then they must return All deposit money in cash regardless of how the deposit was paid. It's not right nor is it fair to expect people to wait for 3 days to get their money back in their possession. U-Haul needs to immediately change their policies and start refunding deposits in cash!!! It's uncalled for what I went through last week I'm very angry with U-Haul. I'm on disability and they tied up all my money longer than necessary.

Scott PEverything ended up being fine. However, when we arrived at the Halifax location, the online check-in was problematic. I had to call the 24 seven help to be able to finish the check in. I only needed a 20 foot truck and ordered it on Friday however upon arrival, the 20 foot truck was not available. They only had a 26 foot truck. And then during drop off I had issues with the online drop off as well. It might’ve been the Internet connection that was not prompting the next screens. Timely. I don’t know. But they phone call to the 24 seven help was very helpful.

Beth SWe were charged for fuel when we received the truck with only a 1/4 tank and we refilled what we did use back up to that level. Then upon return they charged us fuel fees for not filling it up when that’s not how we received the truck.
David RHoffman's people were superior, however, the uHaul customer service that calls needs a lot more training. The calls that I received were very rude including telling me I can cancel the order. I don't understand when I reserved this item on 11/2 they would call me on 11/23 telling me that it wasn't available at Hoffmans and I had to pick it up in Harrisburg. That to me is very poor customer service. There wasn't any reason why they couldn't have the truck up here for me. Thank you Hoffman's for getting the truck local and convenient for our pick up and return needs.

Daniel TNumber one make sure the gas gauge is correct with the paperwork. Also be very clear about the amount you're going to charge per mile. Also when you have to do a self check-in in the area that has no cell phone service regardless the carrier and be charged twenty bucks for return fee because of a dead zone. Lastly we can't take a discount when we reserve a truck and the reservation is late about an hour so you shouldn't charge a whole day's rental fee when you return the truck late about an hour!

William KI don't have cell phone service at this location, at least not internet service. I was unable to return the truck, because of this. I would like a refund for the extra $20 fee that I was charged.
