Kade mThe owner of this operation shared my personal information / rental contract in a bar with strangers. He made the mistake of showing a coworker of mine who recognized me from my work info and informed me of the act afterwards. This seems a bit odd and, frankly, very unprofessional. I'm unsure why he has access to rental agreements from his phone and why he felt the need to show it to strangers in bar. Pretty disappointed.

Brandon TWe showed up to pick up truck. Truck rented was under maintenance. Then maintenance person took keys to all trucks and went to lunch. He did return within 10 minutes; however, this was a bit of an incovenience. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Mike HWe had to change our time from 9:30 am drop off to 7 am because someone else booked the truck that day. It was frustrating because we just moved and had to wake up very early to get the truck back when we planned on going. I know this was no one's fault besides the sites because the site is not synced with reservations so it doesn't know better than to give you any time. It definitely needs fixed and addressed. Thank you.

THOMAS RI drove 10 miles and i was charged for 40 miles. The truck was dirty and i had to sweep it out before i could use it. I returned it at 1:30 and it says i did t return it until 5:30. Horrible experience. I have rented uhauls several times before. This time was hands down the worst ever.

Jeremy NThe Holiday Inn desk employee was not knowledgeable about the U-Haul turn in process. Used the U-Haul app process which worked well and then just handed the key in. The app worked well for turn-in.

Pat CI booked a 24hr truck on a Wednesday for use on Friday . Online the price was quoted at 79 cents a mile and I declined the extra charge for “safe move” insurance. The quote stated estimated total would be $73 and some change. After picking up the truck, using it and returning it. We noticed that they charged us OVER $100 for the rental. This was a much different price than I was quoted for and booked for online. The guy at this location added the safe move insurance without my consent. He also failed to notify us the rate was going to $1 a mile on Fridays and Saturdays. Which my booking quoted me a 79 cents a mile not $1 a mile. Needless to say, he was rude and not any help in resolving the issue. Submitted a complaint for the rate change and almost $40 difference and they said that the only thing they could do was refund $15 for the insurance and the rest was out of their control. I would NOT RECOMMEND U-HAUL to anyone needing to move. Find somewhere that is HONEST with their customers.

Cassie BI stopped to put gas in the truck and the battery completely died and left me stranded. My husband ended up having to bring jumper cables and fortunately got it started. Because of this I missed being able to drop off my old couch, which was half of the purpose of renting this truck and ended up having to take it back to my house because the place was closed by the time I got the truck started again and had to schedule a pickup after, which cost $50. The only benefit your company has is excellent service reps. The two I spoke to were extremely helpful and prompt. Otherwise, this experience was horrible. The truck was clean but needs mechanical attention.

Thomas SHandling reservation remotely was a plus. Howrever paperwork came after the fact. Was surprised by the $15 insurance charge - this had not been mentioned. The pickup location was very handy for me - will use again if needed. I will recommend to friends, but advise them to make reservation several days in advance so paperwork, re contract info, is received prior to use. Would also advise them to ask for extra charges beyond rental fee and mileage rate.
