The crooks leased me a 9ft van that had power steering issues and tires that would not keep inflation. I could have died driving that van. The owner and local Field Service manager promised me they'd get me in a new truck and I wouldn't owe any thing else. However, the next day, I received a remaining balance bill and they were not even willing to get me in a new truck.

Mivhael B.The original location the equipment was reserved did not have the reserved trailer even though it was reserved over 2 weeks in advance of the rental. The new pick up location above did not have the furniture pads or utility dolly I reserved. I had to go to several other UHaul locations to find and rent the furniture pads. None had the Utility dolly I reserved. Blew out my back lifting the trailer onto the hitch.

ZACHARY H.This review is regarding the reservation process not my pick up location. I went to pick up my truck at another location at my scheduled time and the truck was not there. The c-store manager showed no comparison at all. Awful experience. I went to another location at 8:45 pm they had two trucks but could not rent to me because I did not have a reservation. Myself and the manager attempted to make the reservation but could not find their location on your website. Their location is 500 Wilson Dr Centerville GA. I called reservation once I got to another location and reservation answered the phone as customer service. When I told the lady what I need she immediately put me on hold and my wait time was to be 20-35 minutes. I have been a faithful customer but will never rent from U-haul again.

Richard M.My truck size and pick up location changed multiple times despite making a reservation weeks in advance. I will probably not use uhaul on my next move for these reasons.
CARLA H.Manager was nice and helpful, but the tow dolly had been previously damaged (busted fenders, etc). When I pulled up to the office so she could check and take a picture, it was obvious she had not seen it/didn't know it was damaged. It worked fine for me and I made sure to document everything (to avoid getting charged for it), but definitely take a look at the equipment to make sure it works before you sign the paperwork.

Cindy K.Location is well off the main highway. Driveway if very narrow and gate is at a tough angle to maneuver through. Trailer had the entire front edge covered in grass clippings, the build up from a mover deck, and Taco Bell bags.

Serge D.This was the second U-Haul place I stopped at,so they didn't know I was coming. The place in Florence told me to just look up a place and drop it off, well the first place didn't open until noon. That was my fault for not looking at their open up time. I had a motorhome With a car hauler on it looking for a place to return it. When I got to the one where I dropped the trailer, they came out to help me get turned into their place of business. I was very happy with these guys.
Donna S.U-Haul was dirty and location did not have items that I reserved prior to pick-up. Truck was poorly maintained and the tires were so poorly aligned and balanced that I could not go over 50MPH without feeling intense bumps. At times I felt like I would break down and any second.

We caught heck with the transmission changing out and straining to get up hills and it was empty! This cause it to use gas quickly as well. The service was great but the equipment was not. It would barely pull a hill and my husband was exhausted by the time we arrived back home from dealing with that truck. ??
