What is not acceptable is that I was charged me $24.99 for returning a vehicle that wasn't above a 1/4 tank even though the vehicles gas light was on when I picked the vehicle.

FREDERICK RNothing needed to improve. It was on a Sunday and we still got fast service to get the keys for it and easy to return. Everything was clear on what to do for gas in Solon and keeping it clean.

Randal HWe had to pick up equipment at different locations with the same reservation which were both about 20 miles from our requested location. It was inconvenient and didn’t really make sense why we were given options for pick up location preferences when we initially made the reservation.
Katherine LI rent regularly from U-Haul, but this location had the dirtiest trailer, but that wasn’t the main concern. The main concern was the store manager, Jim and his employees who overcharged me for a rental a day and were really jerks about it and instead of fixing it told me to call customer service I did and glad that had a chance to fill out the complaint against this place.!

Vincent KI’ve rented several uhauls from this and other locations. The equipment is seldom clean. Usually a lot of sand build up on the exterior of trailers around wheel/fender area and some sand/dirt on the floor inside. Not sure what the acceptable definition of clean is but it’s my understanding that cleaning and maintenance is not the responsibility of the rental location but the U-Haul rep. Also on this last rental tire air pressure was extremely low. I aired them up to proper pressure prior to loading trailer. Also this trailer had a slightly bent coupler when I picked it up. I pointed this out to them prior to hooking up trailer and they made notation of it. It trailered fine but I had to retighten coupler nut a couple times due to it loosening up. The nut lock mechanism may have been damaged when coupler was bent on previous rental. Overall the trailer worked fine and I was able to complete the task I needed it for.
James GIt was a little out of our way since I originally booked the truck in Becker. But there wasn't a truck in Becker.

Brenda BI had a blown fuse and with the covered trailer had to have functioning lights (which is hindsight seems obvious) but it took me a minute to get that sorted and that could be more prominent as a reminder in the sign up process. Thanks!

Tyrone PI am so upset with U-Haul’s handling of my reservation. They confirmed my truck for my nearest location and then switched it to 40 miles further and I have waited for 4 days for a manager to return my call and I have heard nothing. I won’t be using them anymore.

MICHELLE BU-Haul computer system would not allow for rental of Dolly and gave several errors for decline even though towing vehicle met all requirements and vehicle being towed met all the requirements. I have to make reservation on online via my phone while in the store. Online reservation system did not have any issues and reservation was approved. Store was then able to see reservation and I was able to use the dolly. U-Haul needs to do a better job with their internal reservation system.

Emily GIll probably try to never rent from U haul again. I was in a pinch and the fact that because of my situation I had to pay for 2 days of rental but could only have the trailer for 28 hours. I knew that when I rented it, normally Id have found some other solution if I had the time. Now Had I only been charged for the hours I had it, i.e pro rated...I wouldn't mind renting from U haul.

Jerry EMake sure that when someone returns the equipment the day it's due not to charge for 2 days. Keep close eyes on how much the customer is charged. I was charged for 2 days and currently awaiting a refund for the 2nd day.
