TRACIE WI was told that I could drop off the u haul in a different location than what was originally planned. I specifically called to ask if that was ok and was told it was, I specifically asked if it would be an additional charge and was told it wouldn’t only to wake up to an additional charge. I had to clean out my daughter’s apartment who passed away 17 days ago from taking her own life which left me to have an expense of out of pocket funeral due to insurance not paying for people who take their own lives and then to be charged and lied to when I inquired before hand is just another financial burden upon me
EUNIA CI reserved the biggest truck and ended up with something way smaller. The truck was dirty and now I’m being over charged

DAWSON GTruck was clean, had pads and a dolly inside. Had about 1/4 tank when I picked it up and was told to return it with the same amount. No real issues to speak of.
GARRETT AI was essentially robbed. Due to (I'm guessing) a typing error and my believing that i could safely walk away and receive an email receipt i paid double mileage. I was charged for fifty miles, which was obviously too high. Drove the route in my car and it was 25 miles. This cost me an extra $32. I will never ever do business at Hufmann's again.

I think for a customer in a city using the smallest enclosed trailer $20 is fair. $1/m is a little excessive. Paid $10 for 9 1/4 miles. Drove 2 feet and it rolled over so was instantly charged $1. Anywys, thankful for the ability to use this service. Saved me $35 or slightly more than having the furniture store 8 blocks away deliver it.

Lesley SI reserved a 5 by 8 enclosed trailer. When I arrived everyone was great. We went out to hook the 5 by 8 to my vehicle but I inspected the safety chains and found the safety chains were defective. Defective as in some of the links had been dragging on the pavement and now were very thin. I declined the 5 by 8 as it was not safe to tow. I did switch over to a 4 by 8 which worked for me. And the 4 by 8 had safe safety chains. As of now the management would not honor the $50 guarantee. I called the national number and they were no help as of this time. I am amazed that ANY business would put unsafe dangerous equipment on the road as the liability is huge. I am concerned that too many Uhaul locations have NO ONE that is competent to repair and keep Uhaul equipment safe for the road.

GREG CI would say my experience was 10/10 only bad thing was that my truck I rented was missing a mirror on passenger bottom half. So made backing up difficult especially when I was moving on my own.
Trever SFirst of all I get a nasty call because we were late picking up the truck because the closing on my house was pushed to 9 am. Which was when I was to pick it ip. Then when yo get it and was treated with a very rude lady. Definitely won’t go there again or even use U-Haul.
Chris NPerson at the customer service desk was unprofessional. They didn’t have the Dollies or furniture blankets they claimed to have in their inventory. I had to drive to another location to get some of these items. Somehow the 5 locations in Burlington, IA had a total of 6 furniture blankets in stock. But U-Haul led me to believe I could reserve 48 when I made the reservation. This misleads people and keeps them from making other arrangements. Also driving to multiple locations trying to find the Dollies and blankets I ordered wasted two hours of my time. Not have enough blankets also led to scratches on my wood furniture..
