DAWSON GTruck was clean, had pads and a dolly inside. Had about 1/4 tank when I picked it up and was told to return it with the same amount. No real issues to speak of.
GARRETT AI was essentially robbed. Due to (I'm guessing) a typing error and my believing that i could safely walk away and receive an email receipt i paid double mileage. I was charged for fifty miles, which was obviously too high. Drove the route in my car and it was 25 miles. This cost me an extra $32. I will never ever do business at Hufmann's again.

KRISTI EWindshield was filthier than a Chimpanzee in heat, other than that, great experience. I think for a customer in a city using the smallest enclosed trailer $20 is fair. $1/m is a little excessive. Paid $10 for 9 1/4 miles. Drove 2 feet and it rolled over so was instantly charged $1. Anywys, thankful for the ability to use this service. Saved me $35 or slightly more than having the furniture store 8 blocks away deliver it.

Lesley SI reserved a 5 by 8 enclosed trailer. When I arrived everyone was great. We went out to hook the 5 by 8 to my vehicle but I inspected the safety chains and found the safety chains were defective. Defective as in some of the links had been dragging on the pavement and now were very thin. I declined the 5 by 8 as it was not safe to tow. I did switch over to a 4 by 8 which worked for me. And the 4 by 8 had safe safety chains. As of now the management would not honor the $50 guarantee. I called the national number and they were no help as of this time. I am amazed that ANY business would put unsafe dangerous equipment on the road as the liability is huge. I am concerned that too many Uhaul locations have NO ONE that is competent to repair and keep Uhaul equipment safe for the road.

GREG CI would say my experience was 10/10 only bad thing was that my truck I rented was missing a mirror on passenger bottom half. So made backing up difficult especially when I was moving on my own.
Trever SFirst of all I get a nasty call because we were late picking up the truck because the closing on my house was pushed to 9 am. Which was when I was to pick it ip. Then when yo get it and was treated with a very rude lady. Definitely won’t go there again or even use U-Haul.
Chris NPerson at the customer service desk was unprofessional. They didn’t have the Dollies or furniture blankets they claimed to have in their inventory. I had to drive to another location to get some of these items. Somehow the 5 locations in Burlington, IA had a total of 6 furniture blankets in stock. But U-Haul led me to believe I could reserve 48 when I made the reservation. This misleads people and keeps them from making other arrangements. Also driving to multiple locations trying to find the Dollies and blankets I ordered wasted two hours of my time. Not have enough blankets also led to scratches on my wood furniture..

Ryan MI've never had customer service like I did on this last time of getting a trailer and I've rented many times from this location. The lady that waited on us met us by the trailer two of them side by side. I've always had the store personal standing to guide me into hitch location no this lady was standing by the other trailer and motioning to get over. Finally she said the other trailer I didn't know line me up where I'm to be. Got to the correct one she said I don't help I'm not hurting myself to do lift. Attendants have always helped me I've had 2 soune surgeries and the person with me I'd disabled she finally helped a little. Got it hooked and the chains in she put the electric plug in and left didn't check to see if the lights akk worked or not. She also stated that U-Haul was the worst company that she ever had to deal with we're all ladies here and we shouldn't have to do this work. Taking it back the young lady was standing excellent wasn't running anything down we got the trailer into it's spot helped with all the unhooking she's a real asset to the store and to U-Haul. The first lady hooking it up excuse my language was a total Bitch to the store and U-Haul. Thank you for letting me vent she was uncalled for.
Darrell NYou should review your tow vehicle sizing. My truck is more than capable of towing most vehicles, especially on a dolly. The policies you have in place, make it questionable. I completely disagree. Save that for the inexperienced tow-ers.

JOHN GI ordered an appliance dolly and there was not one available. The truck size I ordered was not available, the 2nd truck offered was 3 miles outside of town so instead of a the 26 foot truck I ordered, I had to use a 15 foot truck and make 3 trips instead of one. Location had very poor customer service when I asked about the dolly. I will NEVER EVER use UHaul again. This is the second time I've had issues. Obviously do not care about customers
Hillarie WMake sure you have the equipment at the location you ordered it from. It should be that way. My first time I had to go to two different places to pick up my trailer Keep up the good service.
