I’m writing to you to express my disappointment with my recent rental service. We reserved our guaranteed car hauler trailer for a 10:00am pickup on December 26th 2025. One hour before I was going to pick up the so called guaranteed trailer, U-Haul called and said that it had not been returned yet and they had no idea when it would arrive. I asked if they could bring in another trailer from somewhere else and was told no, and there was only one other available for pickup that would be over a 4 hour round trip drive for me to get, which is unacceptable. So they booked another one for me for 10:00am the following day at a 2 hour round trip location in case this one didn’t show up, also not ideal. So I asked to be updated on the arrival of my original guaranteed booking. I was told of course we will keep you informed. 4-5 hours later I called the pickup location and was told that there was no chance of the trailer arriving, and that it was stuck two provinces away, and that the original person who called me knew this and should’ve informed me. Instead I waited around packing what I could to get ready for something that was not going to arrive! Now I completely lost any chance of getting part way to our destination at least on the 26th because I was lied to off the hop. So now I drive the next day 2 hours of my time round trip plus fuel in my truck, a day late of my guaranteed reservation, and I’m told I get a $50 credit for my troubles! This is completely unacceptable, and more compensation must be given. You cannot guarantee something and lie about it showing up, and throw $50 at it and think it’s all ok. Please inform me as to what additional compensation you will be providing to me to cover my fuel costs, time and inconvenience in delaying my move/time. Nicholas PGreat location. Clean equipment. Had some issues/ concerns about the electrical on the trailer but the guy said it was my trucks plug. I could be wrong but lights weren’t working on the markers and faults kept showing on my truck. The establishment was great and the man was great to deal with. Would definitely rent here again if needed.
DANIEL REven though the hours were until 6pm and I dropped the trailer off at 5:30pm the door was closed and I had to call a number listed on the door to connect with someone on where to drop the trailer to in the lot. They were pleasant so that was good.
Robert BKen at this location is a super star. I pulled up, reversed to the trailer (already pulled out & clean of all snow) and before I shut the car off, Ken already had the trailer on the ball. I rent a lot of trailers and this location by far is the best in my opinion.

MELANIE DNext time you add a 7 L fuel charge explain to me how I use that much fuel driving only 16 km the 15 foot truck had 150,000 miles on it the steering barely worked barely gets out of first gear maybe it’s time to get some newer vehicles in your fleet because if it cost 13 dollars in fuel to drive 10 miles it’s time too upgrade.
