I reserved a Dolly, which was not there when I picked up (despite being confirmed). Parking wasn't clearly defined, sans some faded white lines out front. I received a call during my rental from the location asking me to move my car, that I wasn't in a parking space. Mind you, I would have to tear things down and pack up to drive back to the rental location to move my car, then back to finish the move. All this, at $0.99 per mile....no, thank you. I'm already having to do more work and made the move 3x harder than it had to be because I had to life/carry every box instead of using the hand cart that i had requested/reserved. In the end, where he felt that I should have parked was on one of the entrance/exit curb cuts for the street entry (there are two) - NOBODY in their right mind would think that the entrance from the street is a more logical and correct parking space than those with faded white lines. When returning, he took the keys and said he'd check it in later. I had to actually ask that he do so now and give me a receipt. POOR POOR operation - I live very close and would never use this location again.Michael C.

My confirmation was not on time, door the business was locked, had to call the guy to come to the office then he argued with me about having a reservation, then his computers were down, after completing the order he forgot to give me the dolly, so we had to make a return trip back to the office to get the dolly. Awful - arrived at pock- up 1 hr late- because I couldnt get out of work. They rented the truck we had reserved. Young girl at the counter was rude never had iContact was basically oh well you were late too bad. I explained that I should've known at booking that if I didn't make it right on the dot of the time that I would possibly lose that rental. I would've definitely called in To alert that I was still renting it I just wasn't able to leave work. I tried to rent anything else she said nothing was available I had to beg her to please call another place I really needed the truck to move. So she told us to go to this other place I would make a reservation for us and when we got there the guy had no knowledge of it and he had one truck and it wasn't ready. The customer service was definitely something to be desired at this location. I received the text message the day before to call and confirm so i did that. The employee said that our truck wouldn't be ready at our scheduled pickup time because he doesn't even open his shop till that time and would still need to clean it out. Now, this may not be his fault, the website should take into account of the business hours and prep time but how he handled it just rubbed me the wrong way. Would not recommend picking up from that location to anyone.Scott B.

You can't adjust the mirrors without a screw driver. I am a 5'2â€ woman so it was difficult to have good vision with the mirrors. The truck and service were absolutely great thoughjennifer G.

I reserved a mobile pickup about 30 minutes prior to my reservation time. I received an email saying my reservation was received and I'd get more information after a specialist reviewed my request, but I never got an update. I showed up at 5:30 and attempted to selected â€œpick up my truckâ€ from the online dashboard but there was no option to do so. All it said was â€œupcoming reservationâ€. A worker at this location was able to help me with a counter checkout instead of using this fully mobile experience. I'm not sure if it was because my reservation was on such a short notice, but I imagine this could be an issue for others if there is nobody physically present during mobile pickup. FYI!JONATHAN C.

I had problems with the online check in. When I was trying to pick up the vehicle online it could not determine my location. I tried calling the help line but after 10 minutes of being on hold I gave up and called another U-Haul location (9390 9th N & Gandy, St. Petersburg, FL 33702). I was ready to just give up and go there for a truck but the guy informed me that I should try using the app instead of the browser to check in. That eventually worked but it still took a while. Overall it took over a half hour to check in online. It's a rather idiotic process, why can't someone at least start the check in process early? I should be able to send the pictures of my license and stuff and do external checks before the rental time.Kevin D.

The business is not just U-Haul. It has a tire/wheel shop there too. Counter space was difficult to work with when dealing with papers etc. Too cluttered. Awkward set up with area around front desk partially cordoned off. Owner should make this more inviting. Owner was fine, van I rented was in great shape. I had an appointment for a 15 foot box truck. I was told to get there at 10am when the store opened. I arrived at 10am and waited until 11am for the employee to show up to work. I and 2 other customers waited outside the shop for over an hour. Once the young man showed up he didn't even say hello or apologize for being so late. I would not recommend this location.Luke F.

The truck was clean. The issue is the battery died three different times during my move. Once at my storage unit, one at my house and finally once at the gas station on my way to return the truck. Arrived for the truck at 6:55 on a time crunch. The app was malfunctioning and wasn't allowing me to pick up the keys inside the box. I never got a courtesy call like I was supposed to the night before. I called customer service to b transferred 3 times. I didn't end up getting the truck until 7:45.JACOB S.

rented a 20'; all good except the left rear view mirror was not stable, previously broken and previously repaired with epoxy; as I was returning Uhal at 645 pm in the rain; I was deciding whether to pull straight into the parking area or into the adjacent parking area across 28th st....I was literally stopped for about 1 min; then decided to move into the lot across the street; as I made my right I missed a moped by inches BECAUSE my right rear view mirror had swung out of position not enabling me to see if any pedestrians or in this case a small moped was on my right; I feel as though this man would not have died as he was traveling 20 MPH (no helmet though) but I do feel your lack of attention to this important detail could have caused me great disruption in my life; not OK. This was my drop off location. The location was closed on a Sunday, yet there was a drop box for the key. I also received my final contract showing the reception of the truck the same night (Sunday night) - which really impressed me. I figured I would have to call on Monday to check if everything was ok.
