The gas ran out pretty fast and I had to put more than I thought!
Nicklas AI was directed to go to this location to pick up a truck. When we picked up the truck, the representative said the engine light was on, but it would make it to Greenville South Carolina. Also, they did not have the furniture pads that I had ordered so I had to go to a different location. When I arrived to the Michigan Road store, they were very helpful and tried to find me a different truck with U-Haul. The corporate office told them to send me to another U-Haul place and when I got there, they said they didn’t have a truck available. Then after I left, they called and said they did have a truck. It took three hours to resolve the Truck issue and I had to pay movers extra time because of the delay. Then, the trip to Greenville South Carolina was challenging because the transmission kept rubbing up going up and down the mountain roads. Also, the windshield leaked and the visor fell off. I informed U-Haul where I dropped off the truck about these issues. They were apologetic, but this was a very trying situation that I feel could’ve been better resolved with up-to-date, mechanical equipment.
Rocky KI don't feel there's anything that could be done differently. It was an easy experience renting a UHaul Van.
patricia vWe swept the cab and the cargo area because it said we would get a $25 credit. Did not get the credit. I even returned the truck before 8 days were up so that the next family could use it sooner. Tried to be nice but next time I won't bother since it did not benefit me to do so. Lesson learned....

JASON SLittle difficulty to find/view signage, didn't stand out clearly among other businesses. Didn't go into facility to view, drop off Uhaul equipment outside. Location wise was perfect for drop-off, less than 5 miles from the of use.

HEATHER FAs noted above, this was the location I was told to drop off at, but that was not what was in the records online, so the staff could not immediately process my return. They assured me they could straighten it out so I would not have to drive in heavy snow to the other location. Great - except I had to wait there over 45 minutes for them to do that, while snow fell and the roads kept getting worse. They should have taken the mileage and gas level and let me go on my way. They didn't need me at all for all the phoning it took to get the error corrected.

EDDIE HFirst of all they need to make sure their brakes work good and if they don't give a truck that bounces around everywhere my daughter had two TVs messed up in there because the truck just bounced everywhere. And we've rented a 26-ft U-Haul before and never had no issue
SERENA GDidn't say shit when I returned key but as I say hit me for $200 plus cuz I am on disability and had no money to top off fuel but was little over half
KEVIN HWe didn’t even use the U-Haul at all. Didn’t even open the back of the truck. And we were told to “clean it out” and we replied we didn’t use it and was laughed at and said I don’t believe that.

FATEMA BThey have a few signs showing where to drive, which were helpful, but they need a few more showing where to park the rental returns and which door to use.
BRIAN SHad to go to 3 different locations before I was able to get a truck that I had reserved several weeks in advance. Was then charged for extra mileage. Not pickup locations fault. Uhaul customer service was at fault.
