The Manager Gary was extremely disrespectful and rude. I was simply asking a question about the fees and he reportedly shouted at me â€œDo you understand English!â€ Which was very unprofessional of him. It was also interesting coming from Someone who English was obviously a second language for himâ€¦. This is possibly the worst location to rent a truck. They have only two lots for parking in a very busy commercial strip. You have to park your car and return your truck in one of these lots ; so you have to move your car first and good luck to find a parking space elsewhere so that you can park your truck. Very poor service and charge you 20 for a few minute late return after 7pm. You have to check out online right at the location if you return after 7pm. Doesn't allow you to check out at home; so if you have no internet access, you are screwed!TINHD D.
Uhaul made my moving experience HORRIBLE! I have never, ever experience as shitty service has I have dealing with my truck rental from uhaul. I understand that there is a lack of trucks within the Toronto are, however suggesting to send me to North Bay to pick up a truck is outright ridiculous. I was willing to pay yet I was told only 24 hour rentals were possible - which was not reasonable to do a return trip to Ottawa and back to Toronto in one day. I dealt with only a couple decent sales staff during my many, many calls with uhaul for this trip. I booked this truck rental and was told that uhaul would call to confirm the booking at least 6pm the day before. I never recieved a call from any uhaul reps. Then when I called, after waiting 45 mins on hold, was passed to 3 different reps, the final women said 'your booking is confirmed' and hung up on me! She didn't even acknowledge the fact that the uhaul location was change and it was 26 km (each way) further now for our move. I had additional questions and she just hung up on me. Then to top of the horrendous customer service I was charge additional mileage for this booking even though I didnt even use all the miles included in my booking! I had to call uhaul and AGAIN wait 40 minutes to talk to a representative. After my overall experience during this uhaul rental I will think twice before I ever rent with uhaul again.Katie M.

There seemed to be an abundance of parking available, but I was told that I had to park my vehicle in the exact same spot as the UHaul was parked. This is obviously rather inconvenient to do, which involves first parking my car, moving the UHaul, then moving my car, then going back to the UHaul. Lastly, I only used this location after my reserved and guaranteed vehicle at another location was not available and the location was close. I then called UHaul and waited on hold for nearly an hour before I got to speak to someone who modified my reservation to this location and told me that I would get a $50 refund. It was nice for UHaul to acknowledge their error, but the whole ordeal of getting a vehicle took 2 hours before I could even start to move anything.Raymond N.

The woman working alone the day we came to pick up our truck was completely overworked and was not equipped to manage the amount of clients that arrived that morning. I used the online checkin to help move things along quickly but when I went to find my truck it was taken by someone else minutes before I could walk to the vehicle. One truck had a dead battery and was blocking the other truck that the staff member issued to us. I had requested drop clothes in my online order but this location did not provide them and I was not informed until I got the truck. Upon returning the truck the parking area was blocked by the broken truck and one that had just been returned. The woman working that day could not drive so I had to move the other working vehicle to eventually park mine. These inconveniences add up at the end of a long moving day. Getting our truck took an hour into our day and returning the truck was also more of a headache then needed. If this location can better organize the access to their vehicles I think everyone would be much happier.VEIRA DOS SANTOS L.

I booked a 10' truck with a duly .I went to the location the teller was so rude. She said I don't have duly! I booked a dolly and furniture pads along with my cargo van rental. I was not told that these items were not in stock at this location until I came to pick up the cargo van. It would have been helpful to know beforehand, since I ended up having to call multiple other locations to figure out where I could get a dolly, which delayed my trip and resulted in me having to drive a longer distance to get that equipment.George M.

First, dont change the drop location without informing. I received a new drop location after reaching the drop location. Then the store was closed till 9am which was supposed to open at 8am. Upon calling the support numbers there was no answer from the merchant. Using the mobile app during drop off was a nightmare. I'm an engineer and I have never seen a poor mobile app than Uhaul which requires pictures and location information to process but doesn't ask for permission from the user and google to access the information it needs. I'm an engineer with a good hold on technology and it took me 30 mins to figure all this out. An elderly person would find it very very difficult to navigate your app. My experience was pathetic.Saurabh A.
