The U-Haul nearby (at 919 N US HWY 1 FORT PIERCE, FL 34950) that I was sent to by the U-Haul text is out of business. U-Haul needs to remove them from their list! However, Nearby INLET BAI & TACKLE (@ 927 N US Hwy 1 FORT PIERCE, FL 34950) was open early at 7am. Owner was very friendly and helpful as well as pet friendly. His cat and cute little white dog greeted me with a wag of his tail. Courteous and very clean establishment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!
KENNETH F.We will never use another u-haul dealer like this again. It is secondary to a bait and tackle shop and it took 2 visits and a phone call to get this dealer to check our equipment back in. Ridiculous. Second time this occurred with a “part time†dealer. If I ever use uhaul again, I will only book with full uhaul stores.
Michael S.This was my second location. My initial location was Mike Wrecker, 596 Old Dixie Hwy, Vero Bch. First of all, they were closed that day. Even though the hours listed said open. Then, there was someone there, in the office, but they said "no service today. Closed." They were very rude. Inlet Bait and Tackle were very nice and accommodated well for a last-minute rental.

Jay S.The failure in this facility to rent the car through the app caused me 3 hours of lost time. I decided to pay a friend and rent his truck. I have another big move coming up, a gift certificate for my time might make me happier. However I will never rent from this facility again. I will also tell everyone I know about the experience I had there.

Gary P.Didn't walk out to check was right installed just ask if we knew how to do it. so because of that wasn't able to check equipment number on contract so when we tried to return equipment Didn't match they make us wait like for 30 min. trying to make me call customer support after they just told me they can keep it the issue was something they can fix .... make me wait for nothing customer support keep me on hold for 8 min twice and no answer.

Cynthia C.I saw the truck I wanted on the lot at Inlet Bait and Tackle, since it's close to home, I went online to do the paperwork, but was informed by Uhaul that location didn't have that truck ! Hmmm, went to see the folks at Inlet Bait and learned yes, it was for rent. I thought possibly it had been reserved, nope. Not only did Uhaul tell me they didn't have that truck, they tried to send me to another location quite a ways from my house. This is SOP for Uhaul Corp I have learned over the years, Corp is a bunch of incompetent, poorly trained, bozos who will give you bad info everytime.....they have never failed me on that one ! BUT if you deal with the local guy, they're the best ! The folks at Inlet Bait took good care of me and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks folks, you were both great !! So avoid Uhaul Corp, deal with the local guy and you won't go wrong. Capt Tom Drake

Richard R.I'm very concerned about uhaul and hesitate to use them again. The rental site said I could return it anywhere around the area I was going to (Tampa). They wanted an address where I was moving to but I wasn't moving. They had me make an address up. So I did. Then I was getting a charged (over double the rental amount) because the site I returned it to was not the site they wanted on a subsequent email. I'm a health provider and I see the Coronavitus impact on lives and on business. It was not fair they uhaul essentially baited and switched me to get additional money. Times are tough but I've lost confidence on this company.

The man Jay was anything but professional between yelling at his son and wife while trying to get my information and get me going , the "bait shop" which is where uhaul is located at smelled ridiculous. Overall the experience was the worst, I have used uhaul for every move long distances and local and was extremely dissatisfied!! Being in customer service myself (Publix) and with everything going on in our country I think your company should re-evaluate this location and Jay as a representative of your company .
