If I had time, I would have went somewhere else. But we had a certain window to get our son moved out of college but we had no other choice. 1- They didn't have the right truck, but told me they would and if not they'd get me one close. ... Then I got a call from U-Haul that I had to get a 20 ft. 2 - when I got there, they said I couldn't even try to get one from a U-Haul close by, which was not what I was told on phone. 3- once I got checked out, which took forever, she gave me the keys to the wrong truck and told me to go check to see what was in the back and if it's dirty she could go get a leaf blower🤔 4 - I couldn't even start the truck cause she gave me wrong key....she didn't even check the numbers 5- when I go back in, and tell her the key and truck numbers don't match, and I can't start the truck... 6 - she then tells me, that she could check that truck out to me but it will take a bit cause we'll have to cancel the current one and start the whole check-in process again....ugh 7- she then couldn't find the right truck....and mumbling something about it was the right key just can't find the right truck .... 8-she eventually took me out back behind building and exclaims there's the truck! And something about it's a good thing we found it because it shouldn't be back here anyways.... 9- then when I open the back there's crap in it and she asked me to help clean it out cause she probably can't do it by herself ... 10-i helped her clean it out including blankets and a very heavy dolly.... 11-She went back around front of building and inside....and when I got in cab there was trash behind the seat and sticky stuff on floor .... 11 - then I started the vehicle and it sounded like trash....I was told it was fine .... 12 - once we got to freeway, it didn't drive too well, not much power-pick-up and the suspension was terrible.... 13 - we finally made it to our destination, the girl there was actually cool about everything. Super helpful and got things done ... I feel like I should get some kind of refund for such a terrible time at the start and the quality of the vehicle
Jason HProbably our best U-Haul pickup experience. The people at the floral shop were amazing! Much better than the robotic attitude we always seem to get with pickups at national U-Haul franchises.
TERRACE SI had to pay an additional $5 for mileage. I was not informed of the mileage limits at pickup. Also, I returned the truck a day early and with more gas than required, but got no credit for any of that. The nickel-and-diming practice does not make UHaul a first choice for me in the future.
Phillip SThe lady was so rude. The dolly was missing a pin. It was 50 miles away from where we picked up the uhaul and it was uhauls fault dolly wasnt at the original pick up location
Jason MTow dolly ratchet system need to be maintained and serviced more frequently. Ratchet almost unusable due to rust dirt and grime , had to use a pry bar to assist in operation.
RON TBrenda Owner Of Ionia Mi. Floral...was very Professional with Setting up the transactions . Truck was Clean & Performed without one issue. I definitely will rent again in the Future if & when I need too..

BARRY CThe truck was dirty before I got it and I notified the app before pick up and at drop off and it tried to charge me for it. I get paid to clean other people's mess so if I cleaned it I would've sent an invoice because I am a detailer and my time is not free. I find it unacceptable that it doesn't seem like they check the trucks before renting them out. They should've charged the previous customer after checking the truck before renting it to me and got it cleaned.

Scott GHorrible truck! Have a video of how awful it was, because the rep John for the area lied and was very rude to me! As a disabled veteran trying to drive this piece of junk back 4 hours about killed me! Only suffered through because John the rep said he would make it right to get it back! Flat out liar Should have called roadside assistance! Your rep is awful and very rude Never again!!!!

ROGER AOur experience with Uhaul this time around was horrific. We were told different things by different personnel and then you have attempted to charge us erroneously and we have to go through a dispute rather than you just having your organization organized. Will not use your company again and will not recommend.

STEVEN DThe passenger door does not shut properly, you must SLAM it multiple times before the truck reads the door as shut. There is ZERO chance of seeing behind you if you're trying to back up or switch lanes it's basically good luck, no safety

pat rThere was a major lack of communication. UHAUL took a reservation I had made, which resulted in having to create a new one, at a new location. This was NOT communicated with the new location (Ionia Floral), which resulted in that owner being extremely rude on the phone; she hung up on me when trying to navigate the issue. I was put behind schedule two and a half hours, and had to go 45 minutes further away to compensate for the ERROR of UHAUL. I will say, UHAUL did give us a deal with the price and with mileage. However, all of this could have been prevented with communication all around.
