This is the reason for low marks Location was great. However, the entrance normally used to get the uhaul truck into the self storage area was chain and locked. It caused great difficulty to get the truck into the area to load though the fellow street entrance I rented the standard dolly which was NOT in the truck. Luckily I saw a gentlemen unloading his items and he so gracious Yo allow me to use it.

Melvin MMy pickup location and method was changed. When I got to the new location, there was no one on site during regular business hours. I tried to use the app to do my pickup, but was unable to proceed any further and had to call customer service. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, I finally got things sorted out. When I tried to do the truck inspection with the app, it crashed. When it loaded back up, it no longer gave me the option to finish the inspection, so I wasn’t able to make a note that the appliance dolly I had reserved was not in the truck. As no one was onesie, I had to do without. After another 20 minutes on hold with customer service, they removed the charge so I wouldn’t be liable for a missing dolly.

Jack NThe man who was working that day was very professional and upbeat. He got me a 26 foot truck with urgency. I truly appreciate his kindness and great attitude! This has been the best uhaul location i have been too and I will definitely recommend to others and we will be back! This man deserves a raise!!!! I rented my truck on friday morning.
ANDREA BLocation was difficult to find; the given address took us to a battery store using the GPS. On the drive we found a bottle of wine that had been stashed behind the seats along with a discarded belt and some hair clips in the cab.
Dovid BThe additional equipment we rented (furniture pads and a dolly) were not included in the truck as they were supposed to be. The phone number listed was out of service so nobody could help us. In addition to that, it took a full half hour to verify us before we could even get to the truck, partially because U-Haul did not call the employer phone number listed and then told us they were unable to verify with the employer. (We were travelling with the employer and he never got a phone call.)

Rochelle G | Overall ExperienceIt was impossible to return the truck due to very bad signal or a problem with the app. After an hour of trying and failing, we called customer service to help with the returning of the truck.
PRESTON PWebsite listing had incorrect store hours
ALFONSO JI emailed the address listed on Irish Self Storage's website two weeks prior to the renewal date for my unit, as I wanted to cancel before that happened. I received no response, and of course, my unit then auto-renewed two weeks later. Attempting to call the phone number listed on the website sent me immediately to a voicemail box that had not been set up. I called the associated U-Haul facility number and finally was able to talk to someone. However, even though I stated on that call that I had tried to cancel on 7/15, my move-out date is listed as 7/30, so I guess I'm just out nearly $150 because I made the mistake of waiting for some actual customer service. Why can I sign up for a storage unit on my own but can't cancel one on my own? And if customers can't cancel on their own, the email and phone number listed on the website need to be serviced by an actual human being. It is both misleading and insulting to treat customers this way.

Robert MThis experience was even worse. We went to the address we were given, but there seemed to be no way to get in, no place to leave a key. I think the address was for an office which was not open. Eventually, I just drove around the very large storage facility and found a place at a totally different address (not even the same street) with a key drop etc.
