Trucks are parked so tightly next to one another, had to get in thru the passenger side. Tried to call Uhaul no response or call back
Bianca SVehicle was very dirty on the inside and the pickup experience was not pleasant. There should be a dedicated attendant on sight to assist with the rental.

Erica HFirst of all, the Uhaul app is not user friendly. The lady who was working the counter at the Shell station barely spoke English and was difficult to understand. She told me that I had to use the app to get a code to unlock one of the row of metal boxes in order to get the key. Spoke with a Uhaul rep who was not helpful at all. The lady behind the counter had to call the station owner out of bed so he came and was able to open the box for my 26 foot rental truck. I spent an hour trying to get this resolved. I hired 2 movers at 730am and of course they work by the hour and spent it trying to resolve the key issue. Almost left for Home Depot to use a Penske truck when the gas station owner showed up to get the key. I will never use Uhaul again!! When I turned it in later that day at a Uhaul center and storage, the rep there said that the mom and pop places who rent them out do not make sure the maintenance and cleanliness is not maintained on the vehicles. I agree. My truck was filthy inside the back and had to be swept out before I could load it up. Broken pieces of glass and debris. The Iron Gate Shell should have their trucks taken away.
George MDidn't have equipment I reserved (,furniture dolly), and was ~14 miles round trip further from where I originally reserved (which adds over $15 to the rental price).
Kenneth HI thought the rate was .99 a mile not 1.19. I had to move another truck myself in order to get the vehicle out. I don’t work for uhaul. I think I should be compensated for that. We wanted rent the truck another day but the person there appeared to not understand what I was asking.
Grace WI have an open complaint. Was charged $60 for gas when I only drove a total of 14 miles and put two gallons back in. The attendant didn't even give my the dolleys or pads I paid for, I had to get them. They were out of pads and I was told to leave the Dolly's in the back of the truck. I have pictures of this. And was still charged for two missing dolleys and the furniture pads I never even was offered or received. This location is a complete scam.
Ralph LTruck was not clean rear.of truck inside box was dirty. Miles was not captured and recorded correctly per store personnel. Will not use that uhaul location again over below/poor
darius aThis was just a Shell station. There were no products other than the truck, like boxes, etc. However, they did upgrade our truck with no problems. Check in/out was quick and easy.
Tim BThey did not include my utility cart that I rented, I didn’t know bc they didn’t walk me thru the truck or anything just said “go find the one with the matching numbers”. I had to go to another location to get the cart.
Stephane BI picked this location because of the convenience. It is at a Shell gas station and it should be stressed they don’t fully understand what’s going on. Mobile check in and check out is a must on the app. The passenger side view mirror was wrapped in duct tape and the cup holder had some dried up residue. Other than that, truck ran great and got the job done. All I cared about.
Victoria YThe Truck A/C did not work. It needs a wheel alignment real bad. The brakes kept skipping when pressing on them. Tire light was on as well. The Truck needs maintenance to include a Tune Up
Felicia AThis was the WORSE experience I have ever had with U-Haul!! I was, literally, afraid to drive the vehicle because, not only was it dirty but, it had a tire warning and the airbag warning would not go off. I was limited in time so I had to go with it. It started raining and the wipers needed to be replaced. What was worse, the Owner attempted to charge me for driving 99 miles when my trip was 54 (round trip) miles from my home to the place I picked up the dining room from and 12 miles form my home to the U-Haul store (round trip) which is a total of 66 miles .I have already contacted my bank to tell them of this rip off and asked them to stop payment.
DANIELSOLOMON HHorrible customer service. The whole time she was taking customers in front of me with lottery like I wasn't even there. Everything I asked a question I was placed on a landlines phone to speak to a manager. Having a person in the store would be great especially if they don't speak English and can't assist the customer. I called back several times that day to speak to a manager and every time it rung and nobody answered. The uhaul was dirty with no air conditioning. Dirty in the back where the last customer brought it back uncleaned. Just horrible it hadn't been cleaned and broken mirror with dape tape. What a way to represent uhaul and treat the customers but than charge you on your card before you even pull off. I asked how much gas to put in because I never got an email because apparently they put the wrong email in system and was overlooked. I was treated horrible because of the way I looked however was tired and sweaty due to moving and these people showed me no respect in front of my kids. My 7 year old even was outside for over 20 mins in hot due to them claiming not to find me in the system. However when I called uhaul customer service and was talking to a representative was just given a set of keys. I will never rent from this location or buy gas, etc again because respect and customer service is important and none was given. Lottery and the other customers buying beer was more important than trying to help a customer that had a reservation and reservation number.
errica bThe air conditioner did not kick on until my speed reached 55 MPH. The wiper blades were dirty. I had to stop and clean them. Otherwise the vehicle operated well.
ROOSEVELT DOwners rude and they don’t have what’s listed. They try to charge me 2x. I won’t be back. This the second time within 2 weeks I’ve used them and both times are terrible. I even had to go through the store find the dolly. Unload there products from the dolly then take it. Mind you I’m pregnant moving cases of water for a dolly. I won’t be back. The person who handles reservations is never there so I have to talk to someone foreign on a cell phone. Never again worst experience and rude.
Kenya ADIFFICULTY SPAKING WITH STAFF ON HAND AT TIME OF PICUP AND DROP OFF. THE CLERK DEMANDED I PARKED THE TRUCK IN A SPOT I DIDNT FEEL COMFOTABLE PARKING IT WHICH WAS COMMUNICATED. HE LOOED AS IF HE WAS HAVING A PERSONAL CONVERSATION WITH A FRIEND AT THE TIME AND AS IF I WERE BOTHERING HIM WHEN DROPPING OFF THE TRUCK. THEN I FULED UP ON SITE PRIOR TO DROPPING OFF KEYS AND WHEN I RECEIVED MY BILL WAS CHARGED FOR FUEL. I TOOK PICTURES AT TIME OF PICKUP OF MILEAGE AND GAS HAND.
Walteria BWasn’t very knowledgeable. Had to wait while the one person who knew English called someone who wasn’t answering and when they finally answered it was 30 minutes passed my pick up time. Also it took 2 days to close out
Brittini JI had a great experience and the truck was ready to go. It is important for the consumer to fill out online their information and what they want to rent. Likewise, read all of the costs then you will understand your final bill.

Bryen YEveryone isn't cut out to be Uhaul dealers. This location needs lots of training and their vehicles aren't getting the required maintenance. Also, this location isn't set up to handle Uhaul customers. The clerks have to continue to call him to get a customer taken care of! They have to be trained!!!
Mary BI was trying to book a regular pick up truck for over 2 weeks. I choose a location that was convenient and in route for me. They kept changing the location and they ended trying to give me a cargo van. I had to call them back and say that that was not going to work. I was helped appropriately and I understand that location preference and trucks are based on availability but Jesus! I will have to go with another company next time I am looking to move something. I need reliability and this company is no longer that!

Valeak WWindshield was dirty and covered with bugs. The hood latched we’re not secured properly.right headlight was loose and flashed from the vibration. Steering pulled to the right badly; bad vibration from tires or fea or worn steering components. Why don’t the renters drive these vehicles to see how they really are. Not happy that because my rental was near thanksgiving the price was almost double, z as bd then the truck drive horrible.700 plus miles from this vehicle.

MARLON PSite manger was not on site. Upon arrival the store attendee had to call him and we did everything over their store phone. It was hard to understand him and very frustrating.

Monique SWhen you walk into the store the staff does not tell you what is going on. They stare at you like you have requested something they don't have. Then they get on their personal phones and call someone to get access to the truck. The process is overall ghetto and unprofessional. I will do my best to not rent here. Uhaul itself is fine however.

LA-SONYAMARIA BI turned in my uhaul on 11/3/22 before noon when the truck wasn’t due back until 11/4/22 at 11:31. I was charged for an extra day($40) when I in fact turned the truck in early. This is an inconvenience and I will be disputing this charge
Keyira SHad no moving blankets, which I paid for with my reservation. I did the online check in process and there was much confusion with getting the keys.
Jamie MThe reservation experience was a nightmare. When I ultimately ended up at the store, I still had to be on the phone with someone and fill out information online while standing in an aisle at a convenience store. The check engine light was as soon as I turned the vehicle as well as having two tires with low pressure in them. A horrible experience all around.
Cody LThis was the worst uhaul experience I have every had. There was no check out or in process, someone just hands you keys and that’s it, someone randomly texts you an hour later asking for information. The truck was filthy, dog hair everywhere, dash and cup holders were sticky with caked on gunk, the check engine light was on. I returned it with exactly the same amount of gas and even took pictures because again there was no check out process to show where the location understood it to be, and still got charged for 10 gallons. Uhau should shut this place down.

Kevin PThey did not have my rental. My rental was actually moved by U Haul to a completely inconvenient location but no one ever notified me. Will have to think long and hard before using U Haul again.
