The original location was changed because the owner failed to leave the key in the lockbox and I had travel further from my location adding additional miles. Vehicle was not previously checked. I arrived only to location only to be told to wait for a phone call. Woman at counter had no idea what to do. I recieved a call and was told to ask for key. I asked about paperwork bill etc and was told I would recv email. I did not recv a walk thru she was only one there and had no clue. I was told to return full and gas was under 3/4 tank. Truck was dirty. When I returned gentleman at counter was only one there and said he would check in later when he had time he was only.one there. I told him about earlier concerns and he seemed not to care. I later recvd a bill for pads and a dolly. I never asked for pads or a dolly , and there wasnt even any in the truck. I called back and he answered and said he would look into it he would call right back he was busy. I gave him and hour and then another 30 min and kept calling back to no answer or being hung up on and leaving numerous voicemails. These people are clueless to what they are doing the run a gas station and cant handle renting uhaul only care about making the money. Will ever rent again thereRobert M.
I would not recommend this location for a uhaul pick up. Granted we went to multiple locations prior to picking up our rental here, but nothing there was done correctly. We did not speak to someone face to face, just over the phone. No one took our information or copied our licenses for the file. After waiting over the phone, we were handed the keys and did not specific which haul it was. Therefore, we walked around trying the various trucks until we found it. There was 1/4 of a tank of gas in the truck and we were expecting a full tank.Allyson S.

I had no idea that this Uhaul location was at a location shared with a Quick Mart. The employees stated that they â€œcould not help,â€ due to restrictions placed by Uhaul. I am a senior and needed help to return the trailer. Fortunately a by stander, who had stopped to get gas, offered his help. This location needs to advertise that it's strictly independent and that no assistance is available to rent and/ or return equipment.vicki D.

The attendant was not aware that the trailer was scheduled to be dropped off. He had to call someone else, who simply asked for my last name, no other information. I was told to leave the trailer in a food lion parking lot and that they would check it in and send me a receipt. No one came out to inspect the trailer or to see if I had actually dropped it off. The trailer was due back by 10am the following day, I called customer service at 9am to make sure the location had checked the trailer in, as I had recieved no confirmation or receipt. Turns out the location had not checked the trailer in, and could have cost me a late fee.Tony S.

This is a remote p/u location. Zero staff. My trailer was missing the light wiring harness. Trailer had no option to apply a lock for security and did not include a spare in the event of a flat.RICHARD B.

I rented a pull behind enclosed trailer. The U-Haul representative (with my help) hooked up the trailer. I felt that the break away chains needed some slack taken up as they were almost dragging the pavement; however, as I live less than 10 miles away, I decided to take care of that myself. The trailer exterior was dirty - nothing major. The real issue was 3 of the 4 tires were not properly inflated. Maximum tire pressure was 65 PSI. 2 tires did not register on the gauge. I inflated all 3 tires to 50 PSI to match the one tire that had air. Both representatives (rental agent and return agent were pleasant); however, upon returning the trailer, I had to complete the disconnect totally alone, as there was only one rep manning the rentals and the convenience store.JOSEPHROLAND P.

The only complaint I have is for the people who rent the trucks that don't bring them back as scheduled. My move was set back by an hour because of that. I have to give the gentleman at the pick-up location a 5 star rating. Very helpful and patient.DYLANSTEVENSON F.
Truck ran noisy. Heat came up from motor latch was broken on grey cup holder panel. Had to press my foot against it to stop heat from blowing. Had to sit on middle sest to avoid heat blowing in my face. Owner gave me attitude when i complainef. Nevrer use that particular UHaul again.ANTOINETTE J.
