Unclear how U-Haul would improve this but the cell service at this location is not very strong and it made using the mobile app for the self check-in very difficult.

When I arrived to pick up my Uhaul the app wasn't working. I called customer service and it was fine. I ordered either a 10/15 foot truck and I go to the truck and there is a trailer attached to the truck. I have never removed one before and I am the only one at the pickup. Therefore the truck was not ready. It took me 30 or more minutes to try and lift the latch off the ball. I don't have any family in Ste.Gen, and my fiancee was an hour away. I struggled and the store was CLOSED. I finally got a hold of a neighbor to help me. I will never rent from this place again.

Joe BWhen I arrived at the scheduled time to pick up the truck, the place was closed. This was an hour after their posted opening time. I had to call them to get someone to come out to the site to open up. No apology for not being open. No thank you to complete the transaction. This location is apparently just a small warehouse for a shed construction business that doesn’t keep regular hours. Only the one uhaul truck on site. No other equipment (dolly, blankets, etc.) on site. Avoid picking any equipment up here. Note. I notice the the question of, “Was the personnel helpful?”, is missing from this survey for this location while it is included for all other locations. I assume Uhaul knows of these problems and does not warn customers or intend to do anything about correcting the problems with this location.
Dana CWas not able to return the truck using the U-Haul app. Tried calling U-Haul but was on hold for better part of an hour. I finally called the local drop-off number and my rep was very helpful (should have done that in the first place). She said that some people have trouble getting cell signal based on their location. She checked me in at my original 9 am drop-off time. All Good!
THOMAS WHad booked a pickup for 11am, and no one showed until 11.30am. Didn't even have the decency to apologize for keeping me waiting half an hour. They didn't do any kind of inspection.
Arthur DI wanted to rent a truck from a local business. I called to see what size trucks they have, larger than what I needed but better than too small. Told him I would be there shortly to get it. Drove 30 minutes to get there, and no one was there. Tried calling over and over, no answer. And the only truck in the parking lot was a 10ft truck and not the 15 for truck I was told was available. Maybe that is why they locked the doors, turned out the lights and left. I have no idea. But horrible customer service.
RIVER FThe application in my phone would not sync with my GPS. After dealing with that for 10 minutes, I called the customer phone number. The lady was super nice but the response was to try the website on the internet which took that much longer. Just kinda irritating.
