I had ALOT of difficulty with the 24/7 pickup app. Despite following all the instructions and enabling location services on my phone, I was unable to get the app to recognize my location. The provided support number (833-399-0504) didn't work at all. At least twice it put me on hold and then hung up on me after 5-10minutes. Then it just failed to connect entirely. The 1-800 U-Haul number online was similarly unhelpful. I eventually was able to locate someone from the support team in Wilmington North Carolina at (910) 762-8708. They were a Godsend. Between their help and using my wife's phone to login to the app, we were somehow able to get it to work. Unfortunately it took us over an hour and a half to pick up the vehicle. Very frustrating. I would l not plan to use the after hours pick up again.William F.

Directions had me at a location where there was no drop box for the key. I needed to go to the nearest uhual building to drop it off. The call center for uhual couldn't help because there was no direct number for anything or anyone. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I had to have a code to get into the gate to drop off the equipment. I had to wait until the next morning and still didn't have a code to get into the facility. That's great that the facility is protected, but if I'm dropping off equipment, send me a code to be able drop it off.Terence B.

Actually I tried to get a 10 foot truck at Iron Guard Storage but they did not have one available. However, the agent was very helpful because she searched the entire local area trying to find me a truck. I think she went above and beyond to get me a truck for the date needed. The U-Haul employee issued me the wrong trailer. It delayed my trip across country by a day. I had to go back to get the correct trailer. Upon arrival the next day, they didn't have any available. They sent me across town and I had to wait for 2 hours until the location opened.JOSE G.
It states there is 24 hour drop off, but I went by after closing and there was no clear way to drop off and had to return the next day when staff was onsite. Luckily I had an extra day to do so. That would have been problematic if I didn't.GREGORY S.

Set up online through app. for a Utility Van. Was contacted later that day and told the vehicle I had reserved was not available. Given option of 15 ft. Cube Van. With no other choice and necessity of vehicle, I took it. Had to go further in distance than I wanted to pick up and drop off the vehicle. Also told I had to pay More for the insurance because it was a different vehicle. Again, not by my choice. The vehicle itself was ancient and had squeaking brakes, also an unpleasant odor in cab. No cruise control in vehicle either and I was in highway traffic. Due to the larger vehicle I also had an increased expense with the fuel upon returning. The staff were extremely helpful considering I hadn't been notified of any return change that was supposed to happen. They were flexible and helpful. When checking in, staff ensured that all materials I was given were in their original condition. However, I was charged for not retruning 12 of the 24 "rented" furniture pads (which I never received). I have no clue how 12 were returned if I never got any to begin with.Jessica M.

The person running this location was rude and not terribly knowledgeable. It took us 25 minutes just to get the contract and then he took 5 minutes hooking the trailer up.
