Very nice customer service. Returning the truck was very difficult because it was dark and there wasn’t a designated area for parking and there were cars parked where the U-Haul was originally picked up and we had to wait a while for cars to be gone enough yo park

The lady who helped me get the truck was super kind and helpful, her customer service was excellent, however this location did not have the moving blankets I requested and the truck was full of sand/dust/not clean. I also probably would not go to this location alone.

Eveything was pretty much all good and perfect. Except the lady that called me. The scheduling lady. She was not the nicest / easiest person to talk to. I really don't think that job is for her. She was pretty rude on the phone towards me. Please go back and listen to what I assume are recorded phone calls. This might not be her thing. But everyone else who works at uhaul are really good valuable employees. Please go back and listen to that phone call. She is not really a good fit for that job. Amy or Mamie was possibly the name.

The wonderful lady that helped me, needed help. She provided great service, but she had overwhelming responsibilities at this location. Still the rep did and exceptional job.

There was trash in the truck upon arrival, the back had not been swept out. Overall, though, the truck worked well and suited our needs just fine.

I filled up the truck beyond the point in which I had received it, and even brought in the receipt in case the clerk wanted to make a copy. I was charged the next day for not returning the truck back with fuel inside. I know it wasn't the clerk's fault, as she was just doing her job. But its still very frustrating to have to stop during my move and call customer service for something like this.

Did drop off without talking to staff, so don’t have much negative or positive to say about them. Experience was over all good, but parking was limited. Could have easily not gotten a spot if the retail location was busy. Otherwise, had a great experience here

I would definitely recommend this location. U-Haul had me picking up a truck in a completely different city than where I live but the location representative certainly went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. the only issue I have is that I paid the $7 to rent a hand truck because I literally moved by myself, just me but the hand truck was not in or on the truck... I would like my $ back if at all possible considering.

Severely cracked windshield. Interior cab was filthy with food leftovers from previous user. Back end was never swept and actually had furniture protective plastic inside. Driver window doesn’t close entirely. Attendant rude and I was told to ignore tire pressure warning. Heavy cigarette odor in interior. Overall it was a horrible experience. PS. Last week I had a pleasant experience with a dealer in Greensburg Pa.

The location had no moving blankets, which I had reserved, and they did not have a hand truck/dolly which I had also reserved. The truck was in below average condition, with the A/C vents at the windows missing vent parts, there was a chip in the windshield, and the gas tank was sending odd signals to the cab. The signal showed that the cap was not on securely, which was inaccurate. Also, the tank would overflow, when we were filling it, and we had to gauge the stopping point, monitoring the gas gauge as we filled and not go past about 7/8s full. I have had good experiences with your trucks, but this was not one of those times. Definitely not the location in North Carolina, as far as recommending U-Haul to a friend. Thank you

This location had nothing to do with my bad experience. It was everything leading up to going here to get the truck. I was literally within 30 minutes away before they called and changed the location of my pick up. The lady that helped me was very nice, helped me get to where I can drop the truck off locally. Then days after I had people from other locations telling me where to leave the truck. Then today u haul called me saying I never turned the truck in, when I dropped it off the same day I got the truck. Plus the passenger side mirror was broke and us usable.

The representative was nice and professional. I am frustrated because I ordered a utility dolly, furniture dolly, and 2 packs of blankets…They didn’t have anything so I ended up buying my own dolly and the move was definitely more complicated and frustrating than it had to be. I was using the blankets for my wood furniture, glass, and TVs. In addition, I thought hiring movers from the UHAUL site was easy enough, however, when they called the day before they had another move and couldn’t make it to me by 9:30-10 like I requested. I didn’t get started until almost noon!

I had a great experience with this particular U-haul, the manager was nice and helpful. The instructions were clear and concise, I had no issues and the return process was quick and easy! I'll use this place again if needed. Thanks so much !

Key was inside with gas station attendant, not in the truck as instructed. Smelled like smoke in the cab.

Check Engine light along with other lights stayed during the entire time truck was driven and truck rode rough! I returned to location to report problem and was told that "routine maintenance was needed but go ahead and use it" by the store's manager. This truck needs an inspection!

It’s a Busy store that sells food, convenient store, and lottery in the same 1 register to have a UHaul service! The wait time to get service is Insane! The young man that helped me was nice tho!

Truck was clean, but driver side mirror had a lot of duct tape on it. It wasn't adjustable and therefore not useful to me as the driver.

Wasnt much parking so I kind of parked over in the grass next to the other 2 trucks. The lady took my key quickly and checked me out quickly which was good. And she was nice. Its a corner store gas station in the middle of winston so it is what it is.

This location has been asking you for a long time to take appliance dollies out of their inventory. They don't have them, so please take them out of their inventory in your system and stop making things more difficult for customers and the location. The staff at the location were excellent and very helpful. We appreciated doing business with them and will do so again.

The staff was very rude. The app was not working and she got smart with me about it, acting like i was ignorant and bothering her. The van was nasty, smelled like piss and body odor. Dirt throughout, i have pics. The wiper blades need replaced, could not see when it started raining, and had to pull over several times or drive 25 mph. Not a pleasant experience what so ever. NEVER going back there.

I have done business with this location in the past and not had any problems. On this date of 8/20/22. I rented the cargo van to take my daughter back to college. Whomever had rented it before me or farther back, did NOT clean the van out and neither did the owners assure that it was cleaned for the next person to rent. Apparently the person had a white dog or cat in the van with very fine hairs. The seats and the entire van are COVERED in fine white hair from the pet. I had to sweep the van out and wipe it down, before I could load my daighter's things. I even had hairs all over my insulated cold bag that I took with us, and all over my pants. There is still a lot of said hair all over seats and floor. The person should have been charged a cleaning fee. What if we would have had allergies? I will not rent a cargo van from this location again because of this. I am very disappointed.

The uhaul equipment wasn’t working properly specifically the key and that put a damper on the whole experience and getting things done in a timely manner. Staff at the location wasn’t helpful either.

typically the customer service at J&J food mart are really great unfornately the trucks arent clean , they work fine but are not clean like they should be and that can pose a threat to consumers who re using the truck due to high contaminated and concentrated levels of debris and dirt. so make sure you bring your Clorox disinfectant wipes. and you'll be fine.

Better Customer Service at J & J food mart. The cashier had a horrible attitude and I don't have to deal with that when I can use another company. They make the U-haul customers wait while continuing to allow customer for their store to go first per the owners request. I have not had any problems with U-haul but after moving all day and night and this happening will make me use another company. My truck wasn't cleaned. They don't make sure they are cleaned just check the mileage and gas. Hopefully service isn't needed because I will be going somewhere else
