Picked the trailer up on a Sunday afternoon. No trouble. Someone hooked the trailer up for me. Nice guy, didn't catch his name. He made me laugh. I asked him if there was a spare. "No." Are the bearing on the trailer packed and road worthy? "Should be." My comment was, "That's why you should buy the road way asst package." I didn't and had not problems.

When we rented the truck, the person in Bismarck was a great help getting us a truck. We were called the night before and the location to pick up the truck was confirmed. When we got to the location in Jamestown there was no truck. We had to go to a second location and found out the truck we requested was broken. Fortunately there was another truck there which we were upgraded to. We were told that that truck had 7/8 tank of gas but actually only had 1/4 tank of gas. They could not print up any paperwork for us, they were friendly but not very professional. Once on the road everything went great but up until that time UHaul was very painful and time consuming.

I gave this location a 1 star for the fact that we had to travel ~260 miles total to get the trailer. After reserving a covered trailer almost 3 weeks in advance, to have to travel 3 hours to get the reserved trailer, is quite frankly unacceptable. Especially since no compensation for time/gas was offered. Terrible service!!

I do recommend J&L services for uhaul ,but when I picked up trailer, running lights didn't work and never did through out move,and they never attempted to fix it.had I gotten a ticket, uhaul would be paying for it, but only received a warning

I received a call Friday mid afternoon from a schedule asking when I would ha e the uhaul back as I missed my deadline. I explained I was moving from IN to ND and having trouble getting in the road. The lady said she would extend it one more day. I was charged for both.

I struggle to understand how it cost over $400 on the same equipment to make the same trip (returning home, North Dakota to Houston) when compared to $150 to leave home (Houston to North Dakota). I am terribly disappointed and will no longer use UHAUL due to this ridiculous gouging. ESPECIALLY due to the fact that I was assured prior to departing Houston, that I would be charged the same price to return, since I asked prior to initiating the rental.

I am NOT a Uhaul customer, but I've been receiving emails and the private information of someone who is. Each time I have received an email, I have responded that you have the wrong address, and nothing has been fixed. I even called the location and was told my email could not be removed from his account. cont.

They went above and beyond to help me out! I had to pick up my truck at a different location and that location Norway Inn is a total disaster. No walkthrough no paperwork. They could not be bothered to leave their office. I asked if they could assist me with the hookup and loading of my car on the dolly and he asked me what I wanted me to do. The person at J and L Service came along with me to Norway Inn and hooked up the Dolly and loaded my car. J and L is the best! Norway Inn gives Uhaul a bad name!

The gentleman went above and beyond to get me taken care of and back on the road. Trailers are accessible and the lot looks kept. Definitely recommend and if needed, will do business with again!

This was the worst experience and such a rip off! Last minute they changed the pick up and drop off location on me and then charged me an extra $50 fee for not dropping it off at the new location they chose! Joselyn and Troy are horrible people to work with and very dishonest!

When you say the tank is full. Make sure it really is. We ended up paying for gas that we did not use because the tank was NOT full. 15 dollars in gas but only went 6 miles. Does not compute. We were tired and thankful we found the u-haul we needed in a pinch for a short quick haul but feel a bit taken advantage of and too tired to argue.

I rented from Ricks TV in JAMESTOWN. I received no phone call from uhaul. When I went to pick up trailer it was not at Ricks. He had no record. I was there a week before reserving one. He kindly called Fargo office and they said it was at J & L. Total mix up on my reservation

Initially we had our trailer set up with Ricks TV uhaul location in Jamestown, ND. We received a message from Rick that he wanted to discuss paperwork and when I called him back he informed me that my uhaul was canceled. I did NOT cancel my uhaul and upon pressing he could not tell me who or when my order was canceled. This was extremely upsetting and a HUGE I convenience. Rick told us to call a different uhaul service (J&L) in Jamestown, ND and thankfully he was able to assist us and was extremely helpful. He also informed us we were the second people that day that were told Ricks TV told them their order was canceled. Seems extremely fishy and I was very upset. If J&L hadn't been so helpful I would definitely never use Uhauls service again. Something needs to be addressed so this isn't happening to other people. When you count on a service and are guaranteed a service and then the night before are told your order was mysteriously canceled... horrible business practice and bad customer service.

The uhaul was across the street they said they would send some one over to help hook it up no help being 89 years old not very easy to push it back turn it left it on to the pickup.

Was accused of stealing an auto trailer from uhaul after spending 1,300 on my rental. Turned out it was a paperwork error. Rhonda from the Fargo uhaul was rude, aggressive, and no apology of the accused theft was ever given. I have done business with uhaul for years through my multi-billion dollar company. I will never use uhaul again, and will not recommend to anyone. How you treat your very high paying customers matters, uhaul. Check your paperwork before you accuse paying customers of stealing vehicles from you.

i was charged for 2 days(48 hours) and was expected to go to amd from Fargo In 6 hours. that is impossable with only 1 person to load and unload. I drove 240 miles only going 60 mph. no i will mot rent from them again.

I did not receive my furniture pads so when I went to return it I was slammed with all these extra fees and I was told that when I returned it if it needed cleaning it would be a 15$ charge .

Very nice and courteous man. He informed me that one of my rental contracts was not long enough and had to charge me for an extra day. He said I needed to call the regional office about it. They were very nice and helpful to get my refund. It was just a surprise that no one wants to deal with after a big move and a thousand dollars, to know that you have to pay more and go through the hassle to get the refund that you were due.

Nothing to do with location. Unit was clean inside... but Previous renters smoked in the cab...it left the windshield with streaks...and it was raining...I cleaned the Windows, swept the cab and the required box before the return. Please consider a no smoking policy...the heat was disgusting but I had to run it because it was cold.

Troy does an excellent job of dispatching the equipment and explaining the important details of the rental agreement. He even highlights the emergency contact information and the drop off details. He assisted in the hook up and ensured our lights operated correctly, and we had enough moving blankets. Service the good old fashioned way!
