This was the first and lad time I ever rent a uhaul, our pick up location got switched 3 times and it just kept getting farther out. They set up our pick up time at 3:15pm when we wanted it at 10. The guy from this location calls us at 2 telling us that they close and we need to be there now or he was canceling our rental this guy was completely obnoxious giving us attitude he couldn’t understand that we were in New Jersey and the pick up was in ALLENTOWN PENNSYLVANIA and that it wouldn’t take us 3 seconds to get there we were almost an hour away. So what he does is leaves the keys in the truck unlock with the paperwork inside we get there not even knowing what truck was ours. But the best part about all of this was the truck breaks down in the middle of the highway so what happens now ? We call uhaul tell them what happen we wait an hour to get someone just to see what’s wrong with the truck he fixes it then leaves 20 mins later broke down again we had to get towed into New York City once we were done unloading the truck we waited an hour for another tow truck to take it to the drop off location I didn’t get home till 4:30am and I had to work the next day. Horrible experience never again and with all this inconvenience I wasn’t even refunded

Blankets were not available even though reservation had requested them. Service was excellent and super friendly so the lack of blankets was not such a big deal. I’ll use this dealer again.

1st...I scheduled pick-up for 4:00..online. 2nd..I called to change the pick-up to 2:30 (spoke to a woman) Day of move..When we looked for the directions to the U-haul facility, we saw that they CLOSE at 2:00!!!! Had to race over immediately...and the truck wasn't there...Had to wait 15 minutes for the late return. Was told to put keys in lock box when we returned the truck. Returned the truck and found NO WAY to open the lock box with number combination. Other MAILBOX on top had NO LOCK, so we were afraid to leave the keys...truck could be stolen! Had to made another trip the following morning-from the opposite part of town- to return keys. Total INCOMPETENCE!! Will never use this facility again!

Unprofessional stafff. Called to confirm day prior (as instructed) and told that hand truck would be available but blankets not. Advised representative that I had pre-ordered and pre-paid for equipment, and he said that he would see what he could do. Upon arrival, had to wait multiple times during the rental experience while representative waited on other customers who were wiring money. If you start a customer experience with a U-Haul customer, it should be completed from start to finish without the U-Haul customer being relegated to waiting every time a customer of a different service entered this mixed use store, so they could be taken care of. Each time this happened the representative said it was because his computer was "frozen" or needed to be "re-booted", but oddly the computers always 'froze' when someone else walked in and wanted to wire money. Last but not least, neither the hand truck nor the blankets were available. Representative did not care, showed zero empathy or compassion, shrugged his shoulders and rudely stated "I've credited your account, nothing more I can do, want me to cancel the rental or not." I would strongly encourage you to mystery-shop this location for customer service. The rude and indifferent treatment shown to the U-haul customers does not at all represent your brand well. Had it not been so late in the afternoon with a time constraint, I would have canceled the rental and searched out a Ryder or Budget location as an alternate option.
