Great uhaul location

ROBERT AJen’s Furniture staff member was informed during our initial inspection that the Engine dashboard light was activated and denied it being a problem. He also would not take the time to identify ir document a truck drop-off location for our one way trip, which contributed ito problems when we returned this vehicle.

MELINDA YThe gas cap on the vehicle was broken off and I was unable to screw it open to refill the gas tank and so I was charged a big fee for not being able to refill the tank before I returned the vehicle. I would like a refund of this gas charge as it was not my fault that I couldn’t access the tank.

SCOT PI ordered a dolly but the dolly was not in the truck.
BRANDON DThe location was closed when we arrived to return the truck. We did not interact with anyone at the location. It is in a rough, run down area. We were able to follow the prompts on the app to return the truck. We have used this location before and might again if the need arises. Saying "Yes" to clean and inviting is not accurate.

JOSHUA WI was charged for cleaning the truck and there was nothing left in it. I was given a truck that was the $39.99 truck when I reserved the $19.99 truck. It was a Sunday, followed by Martin Other King day. I couldn't go in to the location to get it resolved, so was forced to use and gas up a much larger truck than requested. I was charged for a 2 day rental and we had the rental for 1 day. Yes, we used more miles than we thought we would. The mileage charges are valid. I was charged over $300 for something that should be barely over $200, if that. I have submitted a dispute and awaiting a resolution. The truck wasn't fully gassed up when rented, which caused us to have to spend even more money on gas than would've had we been given the requested size truck.

PATTY DAll the wrong information was given, they did not have our truck but over charged us and said we would be refunded at the drop off station and we were not. They also said every mile over was a $1 and we had to pay $50 for being 5 miles over.

JOHNNY MThe dolly (which I didn’t use) was not connected to the wall. So when I started driving it went all over the place and ruined the furniture that I was transporting by making marks and chips in the wood. :-(

Sagamoor AI was mislead on the price I was showed 109.00 but after returning the trick and go on the app it was almost 200.00. Deposit was 175.00. I only used 5 mile and gas was put in the tank. I not so happy .
DIANE WThe first truck we were given, the roll up door was stuck. The second truck the front bumper was hanging off. We were charged for gas when we returned it exactly as we took it out. We use this location often, and I was very disappointed this time.

Dawn EI was supposed to drop off my trailer to a location on Gilbert Avenue and after pulling in, they said I could not drop it there as they had no room. They did give me an alternate location which is where I dropped my trailer off on Monday 8/19 and it was super easy. The young man offered to remove the trailer from my vehicle and promptly rolled it into a space. He told me was all set and I would get an email showing the return of the trailer. I did not get an email until Wednesday at 12:57 PM stating I had just turned the trailer in and they charged me for an extra day as it was due by 1 PM on Tuesday 8/20. So basically, I turned it in one full day early and they acknowledged it one full day late. When I called the drop off location, all I get is a message to call back later or to text them. I did text them, but have yet to hear back.

Christina WAgain, nothing against the place but UHaul in general. I was supposed to drop off 3 miles from location of moving, which is why I picked the location and had to drive the truck 25 minutes to a different location. Not sure UHaul understands the meaning of the word reservation! The people at this location were nice and friendly, again, this is Uhaul in general, not the people working the locations.

CONNIE RDolly came off the mount it back of truck while driving and thought they were going to charge me extra for using it. The store was understanding and didn’t charge me extra. It’s good to be valued and trusted in a situation like this.
CONSTANTINO HThe van worked well but wasn’t particularly clean. It hadn’t been returned on time by the previous renter so I had to return later in the day. Also it had been smoked in. Those 2 things obviously aren’t the fault of Jen’s Furniture.

MICHAEL WCustomer Rep at this location was outstanding. It was a change of pace to deal with someone who actually had a ton of knowledge about their product. It was the smoothest U-Haul experience I've ever had!
