I did not get the size of truck I need was give larger truck which cost more in fuel which cost me to go over budget. Truck also seemed to be running ruff like it needed a tune up. Truck had dirt on the cabin floors. Customer service was very good at both locations.

I came late for the self pickup and the link to start the self checkout did not work since it expired. I did not know this would happen if I came late. I wasted an hour changing it to pickup the truck. Please make that known.

Got here only after being moved around to different uhaul locations. Only bad thing about the truck was that the mom's attic had a leak and somdd of my things got wet.

I made a truck reservation here, but when I arrived they did not have the 10' truck available at the location. I did not receive the truck I agreed to and had to get a 15' truck instead. I was not happy to have to pay for 10$ more than what i agreed to.

The man forgot about me to hook up my trailer Waited for him to take a cigarette break Got out of my car to tell him I was waiting He said he forgot. But what I am most upset he plugged in my light Said it wasn’t working. We had to stay at a hotel the following night because we had no lights. The following morning l checked the lights. He put the adapter in wrong. I pulled it out and put it in. Turned right on I had to pay for a hotel room for nothing

Unfortunately this was not my original pick up location but some 10 miles away. I made reservations week in advance for a 20 ft truck in person at a location 1 mile from moving location..told no problem..Two days before move receive email from uhaul that a 26 ft truck was guaranteed at my reserved location. Called u haul 800 number to tell them a 20 ft truck was reserved not 26 ft. Could not get big 26 ft parked in driveway. Told my 20 ft truck was given to someone else because it was one way. Asked to talk to supervisor... got Evan Frommer trafic controller and was basically told to take it or leave it.. So I agreed and got another email form uhaul the next day saying guaranteed for 9am next day. Arrive moving day to pick up truck and was told uhaul gave it to someone else. 20 minutes into situation receive email from uhaul telling me my truck is now 10 miles away. Lost close to 2 hours in moving along with some of my helpers because of time loss not to mention extra stress, gas used to pick up and drop off, mileage charges at $.99 a mile from rented truck as well as extra gas and mileage for my car to go pick it up and drop it off. Why make reservations and have a guarantee.

Very unprofessional! I show up and wait inside building for 5 minutes until someone finally comes to wait on me. Not a big deal. I requested a 20' trunk but was given a monster 26' that I didn't need or want. I thought it was large, but assumed it was 20' as requested. When I leave I am told to bring it back with 3/4 of a tank, so I made sure that is what it had upon return. I get there and a man is in the office with two young children and he proceeds to have a 8 year old boy go inspect the trunk with me. They ask where is the dolly and I told them it wasn't there when I picked it up, I didn't need it and didn't even think about it. The man upon finding this did everything but call me a thief until after multiple calls and checking inventory found I was correct. The little boy says there wasn't enough gas in the truck even though I put gas in two blocks away. I showed the man the receipt and he states that trunk is much bigger and only gets 6 mpg so I owe $15 for 3 more gallons of gas. Had his children not been there I would have told him to get off his lazy ass and go check himself. I decided to bite my tongue for the sake of his children and just paid the extra $15. Please beware of this place and I have used U-Haul many times in the past, but never again at this location. They are crooks!

Horable experience. No reason for me to ever use U-Haul ever again. Too many good options to use a sub-par company. Web site did not rent truck at location I expected. Took me 1 1/2 hours to find correct location. Redding road location gave us wrong address. Dore in a part of town I would NEVER drive to. Truck had broken parts in cab. Driver side. Sun visor was was missing. Budget is much less expensive with much better equipment.

I reserved a 10-ft truck a week in advance. I received an automated e-mail with a pick up location (4001 Hauck Rd). When I got to said location, it was a BP with two 26 foot Uhaul's and no one there to turn over the keys or anything. Guy working behind the counter at the BP got me on the phone with someone who told me there were no 10 foot trucks available and that I needed to go to a DIFFERENT address about 8 miles away. Why did they send me to that location in the first place? Did they think I would just take a 26 foot truck in lieu of a 10 foot truck not being available? There was no way I was going to drive a 26 foot truck all day. This was very frustrating. The BP location seemed very out of the ordinary. I did not feel comfortable picking up a truck (and leaving my car) at a gas station that had no visible affiliation with UHaul and no one there to greet me with keys or anything. the location I was rerouted to (7990 Reading Rd) had my ten foot truck that the guy on the phone said was unavailable, and had Uhaul signs out front reassuring me that I was in fact in the right place. The man inside was not the same guy I spoke with over the phone, but he sensed my frustration and was very helpful and understanding of the situation.
