Best UHAUL experience. Having used UHAUL many times over the last few years this has been the best experience. I reserved the equipment and IT WAS available. Moreover, Jen was professional and polite. The entire process was smooth and without issue.

I just needed a 10' truck for 24 hours. I walked in to their office about noon on 10/9. They said if I rented a 10' had to be back by 8 am. I needed truck for 24 hours so they offered the next biggest truck(15') and instead of 19.99 charge they charged me 29.99. Oh here's the kicker they charged me an additional $14 for the insurance which I didn't authorize. They were deceptive in hiding that charge as nothing was printed at day of purchase. They said they couldn't print anything out just an email which went to my wife's email account as I don't have email. So jens furniture on reading road in Cincinnati ( the uhaul dealer )overcharged me $25 and like I said it was deceptive to begin with the up charge on insurance that I didn't authorize, why would I having drove it a total of 2 miles. Misleading and deceptive calling better business bureau. Tired of people always wanting to deceive you and hidden charges

second rental this week! I never do reviews, but felt compelled after a wonderful experience. The woman who owns this establishment was extremely kind and helpful. Best customer service experience I've ever had with Uhaul. She deserves a raise!!

This particular rental was for the use of cleaning, clearing out my mother's house! Sue passed away on the 4th of October, and we literally just laid her to rest, on 7 Jan 2019, at the Veterans Cemetery. The initial phone call to the Rental agency in Reading, Jens Furniture/ Reading Uhaul center well my God what a super pleasant experience! The kindness shown to me, the professionalism, prior to renting, during, and after the return was tantamount to be as Christ like as the scriptures say... Do unto others as you would have other do unto you! 10 stars.. Thanks so much i really appreciate everything

Clerk did not wear a mask. Didn't see him sanitize any of the trucks on return, either. If you rent during Covid, be prepared to sanitize everything yourself. Online check-in froze up and didn't work, so we had to go inside and re-do the entire reservation. defeating the purpose of "contactless" rental. Do better, Uhaul.

Please do not tell customers - me- that I can return the U-Haul truck on one way trips to ANY U-Haul. It cost me an additional hour and 20 miles which otherwise would have been a 20 minute drive and I would have been there when they were open instead of getting there at 7:04 pm. When we went to the ACE Hardware on County LIne and Sunbury Rd we were told it would cost us double to drop off there and they get told that all the time that someone tells them they can return anywhere, and it is not true.

The woman who helped me was very nice, Having said that, we are in the midst of a pendemic. She had her mask below her nose, which is not helpful at all. Not one other person in the store was wearing a mask. At least 3 other employees and one customer. I felt very unsafe. She checked me out and pointed me in the direction to my truck. No help getting supplies into back of truck or help going over information about the truck.

The employees at check in counter were not friendly or accommodating. They called me and told me that they needed the truck back for other customer before I was finished with it. And upon returning they tried to charge me over $200 for one day rental and 9 miles driven. After a couple minutes of back and forth between employees they found the employee to check in the truck last didn't put the correct mileage. I'm glad I took pictures of the mileage and condition of the truck before I left the lot upon picking up. I will NOT be going back to this location for U-Haul rentals. The online reservation process and everything from “U-Haul” was great. I would like to know more about the no contact check in/ checkout. But JENS furniture store was poor.

The employee did not wear a mask as required by the Governor , the truck had a cover on the drivers seat that kept coming off. Returning the truck I could not find anyone in the store again no mask then he went the wrong direction to check in my truck this took about 10 minutes I had to explain to 2 other people that I did not work their and I had no idea where the employee went. When I asked about the charges he could not find the receipt and told me it would be sent to my email,

Truck was filthy. Radio was stuck on one station and volume didn't work. Accelerator had a delay so the drive was jerky.

I love these group of people. Joshua is my customer service rep he has made my first time renting a U-Haul go very smoothly he was very knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly. I would rent here again definitely thanks Josh you're awesome

The employees tried to be as helpful as possible. So I hesitate to give the individual locations such a poor review. That being said, I have never had a good experience with U-Haul. I never receive the truck that I have reserved. Typically I end up with a smaller truck due to inventory issues. In this instance I did not get a truck at all because the previous person never returned it. I should have been notified prior to me wasting time on my move in day to drive and pick it up. Eventually I was given a replacement truck, but waiting and driving back to the store to pick up the truck set me back 2 to 3 hrs.

I was contacted by your traffic control the day before the rental at about 6:30pm. I was told by text to contact you urgently about my rental. I was on hold for 1.5 hrs total (disconnected twice after 30 min each). I never was able to speak to someone until I tried at 6am the day of the rental. Very poor customer service. I will look for alternative companies in the future. Also I tried live chat in your website no one responded I gave up after 40 min

If you need a truck, you can get one there. However, they do not clean their trucks, it's in and out as soon as the trucks are returned. I only had a 1/4 tank of gas, so it was a good thing I wasn't going far. I reserved the truck for 2 hours (8:30 to 10:30), but because the lady was busy with 2 customers before me I didn't get the keys until after 9. I received a text telling me that I had less than an hour to go at 9:45. I called and reminded her of the time when I got the keys. I returned the truck by 10 thankfully with no problem. Overall, It's a truck when need one.

The truck was old, clearly well used. Was fine for our local move, but would prefer a truck without a sticky steering wheel, and the back mopped (not just swept).

They were rude I had a Reservation for two days and also only 30 miles they switch my whole reservation when I got there they took all the Information that I had made on the phone call out and put in what they wanted to put in just to make money and made me pay more Then kept harassing and threatening me started to texting my phone I'll saying that he was a manager But I know he was not because I was in the store and knew who the manager was he messed up my reservations very rude I end up calling go uhaul Then He proceeded to text my phone and nitpick with me saying stuff like nice try I'm going to take your money called me over 25 times the younger Gentleman was disrespectful but the man an woman was there was understanding an good people The furniture store Just one of their employees I have a very very hard time And I need to talk to someone right away

I'm guessing a mom and her two sons run this location. I arrived early for my pick up. The mom was on the phone handling a customer. So another customer and myself had to stand for about 15 mins listening to the worker and the customer go back and forth due to the phone being on speaker phone. Meanwhile someone else could have been checking us out as the kids were working there. Then after the call end her and her son argued back and forth while we're all still waiting to be cared for. Our reservation was 1230-430. We never even got checked out until almost 1240 or 1250, due to the nonsense. However they made sure to let me know to bring it back at 430 due to someone scheduled to take it at 430. I was half tempted to say nope you delayed me now you will need to extend my time. I didn't I'm not that immature. However upon return about 415pm, I pulled up and I'm walking to toward the store the kid yells are you returning, leave keys in the ignition, did you replace the gas, and open the back end. Then yells thanks and difference in miles will be applied back to your card. About 5pm we get a call telling Us the truck was due back at 430pm my daughter says it's been there. They ask well where are the keys?? At this point I wonder how they operate. I got it late, brought it back early, and they still were clueless! Definitely not professional or organized!

Great experience. In and out quickly, car was in good condition. Just dropped off the keys and got the final bill emailed an hour later. An altogether great experience at this location. The only thing I would recommend is that the need oil light was on as well as the tire pressure. It was no biggie for me as I was doing a short pick up, but I can imagine on longer haul moving trip it would be an issue. I don't know who maintains the vehicles, but before you leave it's worthwhile to record the issues and tell the pickup location before driving off.

Cab of Truck was FILTHY and gross. Yes- I get it is a rental truck- but we use rental trucks all the time through my job and they are not dirty. Literally had to wipe down entire cab. Lady who checked me in was nice but I guess couldn't find the right key so gave me a different truck - but at first I was charged for both. Had to call Uhaul to get it fixed. They said they couldn't take it off and to call scheduler-(not the location person. They were already closed). Tried to call scheduler and no answer. No voicemail. I got online and fueled an issue just to be sure it was on record and I wasn't charged for it. Someone must have eventually fixed the issue but it was a bit of a pain to follow up. They did have a large selection of vehicles but i think I would try to get from another dealer if I had the option.

I called to have the truck ready for me in the morning. The man said that he could have the truck clean and ready. It was not clean but was able to go. He was helpful bringing my moving blankets out to the truck.

My Uhaul did not have our dolly in it that we paid for. We ended up with a larger truck than I ordered which helped make up for it, but still would've been nice to have.

the truck was pretty beat up with many many dents and scratches, and rail above rear tire was sticking out. guess that is to be expected for a truck that is 150K miles. the people at the facility were very nice like the pickup option using the phone thanks!

Your website is awful to use. Also, I had reserved a cargo van at another location And I had trouble getting the app to check me out completely. I drive home and then was told to go back so the GPS was correct. You rented the van out to someone else before I got back to that location. I was promised a lower price since I was stranded at that location and had to get to another location. But I never got the lower price. The whole reservation process and pick up was miserable. Nothing to do with Jenn's furniture though.

When rental was provided computer systems were having issues. Therefore representative at location didn't explain that gas has to be refilled before returning therefor I was charge 14.00 fuel charge. Had I known I would have found gas station to accommodate the truck.
