First we got sent to a new location. When we got there no one was there. Didn't tell us we need a code number to get in. I sent all my info online to the other loacation. Had to wait a half hours trying to get the code for the truck.Lenny T.

First of all, make sure every location cleans and maintains the trucks and trailers. I picked up my truck and drove straight to my destination to pick up Girl Scout cookies for transport. When I opened the door to the truck body, the smell made me sick. There was filthy liquid all over the floor as well as food, food wrappers, nails, screws and dirt. This truck was not fit to transport anything, let alone food products. I was horrified. The truck was disgusting and should not have been available for use until it had been thoroughly cleaned. I have never had a bad experience with U Haul, but this makes me think twice about using them in the future. I was extremely disappointed.Courtney B.

Be at your shop not your house. The workers house is about 50 ft from the shop and I wouldn't have known if fed ex didnt stop there and I guess he does this out of his own work shop because he was the only one there. This guy smoked while I was in his little office, than told me to come back the next day for the change from the deposit because he wasnt gonna be there, I had it about 2 hours. Than when I showed up the next day he forgot he told me to come back. And for some reason the minersville auto told me I couldn't drop the uhaul off there which was closer to me I had to go all the way back to Jim's both are crappy customer service placesSTEVE W.

Our experience with Uhaul was less than satisfactory for our recent move out of state. We started the process of securing a truck well in advance of our move and had nothing but trouble getting the truck we needed. Sizes and locations were unavailable in all local locations, our order was confirmed and canceled one day prior to pickup, then we had to travel 30 miles out of our way to get the truck we needed for the next day because that was the only available truck. We also ordered a utility dolly that was never received on the truck at pickup which was extremely inconvenient when moving large furniture pieces. Then, upon our return of the uhaul to the dropoff location, we were 20 minutes behind and got charged a $40 day fee as well as a mileage overage. This is all unacceptable in my opinion and we will be calling to get a refund.Andrew P.

Everything with Jim's Auto Repair was great. Your customer service, however, not so much. We had a terrible, terrible experience. I will never, and I mean NEVER, use U-Haul for anything. First, we live in a rural area. We had such a hard time being able to get the code for the key box because gps couldn't get an exact location due to the poor reception. It took us close to an hour to get the key!! There is no reason we shouldn't be able to pick a key up from the person at the garage. Same thing on the way back- we couldn't "return the truck" online. We called customer service, waited over 40 minutes for a representative, and once she answered, she just hung up. This was my first, and will be my last time, that I used U-Haul. NEVER AGAIN!John M.

The truck was stuck in the mud and had to be pulled out. The back of the truck was dirty and because of being in the mud I did not check the back until Pi had gotten to my location to load it. I never recieved my contract due to a printer malfunction and I never recieved an E mail from Jim's auto repair. The gas gauge said 48 miles to empty. I drove 120 miles and put in $60.00 worth of gas %2.90 per gallon 20 gallons. When I dropped off the truck I was charged $65.00 extra for cleaning and gas. I tried to call customer service and waited on the line 30 minutes each time and never talked to anyone. The truck was a hazard to drive the alignment was far out and the truck was hard to control. I am furious and I expect retribution and an apology from u haul. I am seriously contemplating legal action. My phone number is 2672426922anthony D.
Could not access Truck keys. Location manager could see me and did not assist. Daughters called Jim and he talked rudely to them stating he was closed. Wife called and he refused help again. It took over an hr to get inside the truck. We lost that time with our hired movers and had to pay them for an extra hr on the back end to finish the job. Also pd for a hand truck & blankets that were no with the truck.Shanon R.
A bunch of my tool and all of my clothes got wet in a enclosed trailer. Does that make any sense whatsoever. My tools are now rusty an since I can't take a picture of wet clothes or send them a picture of how anything smells. No one has representative has responded to me. Very very disappointed with the trailer I rented. I also had to drive 2 and 1/2 hours to get the trailer then 2 and 1/2 hours back home. Which uhaul only knocked off 50$ for my travel. Then the associate who I rented the trailer from was very rude an didn't even sent up my trailer properly about 15 minutes on my way back home I got a call from some guy saying that the trailer was not setup right an I need to fix it. Ok that would be fine if I didn't have to do it on the side of the road otherwise I ran the risk that the trailer would fall off.Randy P.

Truck was great. However.... All U haul trucks need LED HEADLIGHTS!!!!!! Driving at night is horrible AND VERY UNSAFE with the current halogen headlights. ALL OF YOUR TRUCKS NEED TO UPGRADE TO LED LIGHTS!!!!!! I can't stress this enough!!!!!! It will make driving at night much safer. Thank you for an overall great rental experience.Tony G.
