I only rated this location as average, as the self check in was a nightmare, as portions of the app and even the browser based interface needs improvement to clear up confusing instructions.

The shop was closed when I got there and was hard to find with a small uhaul sign outside. Location charged me for more gas than I used, I took a photo before leaving the truck and fuel was between 1/8 and 1/4, store showed uhaul gauge between E and 1/8. Sketchy location.

Our rental was good. This was the first time we used the app. The only reason I rated it "average" was because of the difficulty we had in picking up the truck. The store is on a busy street and there was a lot of cars speeding by the parked truck. It was dark except for the oncoming headlights. My wife and I are over 75 years old and don't see as well as we used to. It was difficult opening the compartment lock where the key was stored. The good news is that we did it! But, it wasn't as easy as it could have been with better conditions.

Really exhausting experience. First, I had to use the mobile pickup to get the vehicle. There was a whole verification process which I understand, but then there was a requirement to have a second verification: i.e. passport (like I carry that with me) employment (whcih would need to be verified by calling) or a contact of mine that would be text'd and called to verify. Would have been nice to kow that I would need this. Then after an hour+ I was able to get the vehicle. Had to stand in sun in 95 degree weather to accomplish all this. THEN I open the back of truck and no dolly or blankets that I requested. Location was closed, so spent more time talking to UHaul. I was told I could drive to a different UHaul location to go pick up, and my charge for dolly and blanets would be waived. Remember, I also had to pay for mileage. It probably was only 5 miles out of my way, but still. When I get to the lcation, they knew nothing about me coming and didnt believe they had a dolly. Again, wait. They were able to find one for me (Thank God) and I was on my way. Needless to say, Pick up was at 10 and I didnt even get to start loading truck til 12. I will never do the mobile pick up again.

This location was okay and the people were really nice but the U-Haul app sucks! It crashed while I was checking in so it took a half an hour to wait on the phone so I could finish checking in and get my code for the key
