This entire rental experience was an absolute nightmare! I have never seen such poor follow-through and customer service in my life. While a few of the representatives were extremely helpful d apologetic for the total fiasco this process was, the overall experience left me wondering why in the world I had trusted my move to Uhaul in the first place! I would encourage you to read the notes associated with my situation and pay special attention to the notes from the male individual I spoke with in May 29th. He definitely needs training in customer service. Telling an irate customer that something is company policy and the company had done nothing wrong is at a minimum ill advised and basically just plain stupid!Barry M.

Had to jump start the u haul 8 times. I got transferred to 3 different locations and still got charged for the upgrade that I did not want. This was the worst experiance I have ever had and I will never rent a u haul againKristofor R.

Owner informed me i had almost a new truck; only 23000 miles. Owner informed me I had "almost a new truck,only 23K miles". Truck registered way over 100K miles with a/c not working in 90 degree weather. Scheduling did not allow time and the location in middle of nowhere would have prevented it anyway. Only way these guys will ever see me again is if one of my kin dies in their yard. No problem with uhaul, but no need to jerk customers chain; he had my money.gary H.

Ensure the representatives know how to properly hook up the auto transport for towing. Also was told we were going to be given 1 free day...upon turning in the uhaul, they were stating we owed for the free day...!?!THOMAS S.
The truck was clean, but the front fender was damaged. It only had 1/4 of a tank of gas when I picked it up. Having that little gas meant that I had to spend a lot on gas before I even got started.DAWN W.

The people were very friendly and helpful. This was the first time for us on renting a U-haul trailer. The person I spoke with at your toll free number went above and beyond helping and explaining the process to me. She took her time and did not rush me in any way. My paper work directed me to 302 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr, Maxton, NC. I initially went there and was told that the person that handled U-Haul won't be in all day and no one else there could do it. I then drove to Red Springs to John's Fuel Service. My only negative experience was in Maxton. Not fond of having my time wasted. Maybe you need to pull out of there unless they can prove to do the job consistently. Would not recommend the Maxton location to anyone!James M.

The locations employee/owner was prejudicial and racist. In the many years I and my family have given our business to U-Haul, I've never experienced anything like it. And to add insult to shock, the person whom contacted us from U-Haul after I made my grievance, played the incident down and said I was wrong about my perception of the what happened! I'm very displeased with the way U-Haul has handled this matter and plan to take it to the NC State Attorneys Office and Better Business Bureaus for review.JUAN M.

The truck that i rented had no back lights including break or turn signals. I didn't notice until i was on the highway and another car yelled it to me. I had to wait a hour for the repair tech to figure out the problem. The problem was a loose grounding wire in rear of the truck.joshua B.

The location was closed during the weekend, but the drop box was easy to find near the door. The owner did happen to show up as I went to drop the key, and he took the key for me. Great service here as well.BRIAN R.
