Chance LDrop off was smooth. The people who answered at 1 (800) go U-Haul were very friendly, but were totally unhelpful. We were directed to locations that did not have the equipment we needed. We wasted hours trying to find a location that could help. Calling the number is a total waste of time. I almost gave up on U-Haul, and I likely won’t use them again.

Damon SContact them about a change in pickup location. Especially if it’s over an hour away for the right equipment. Don’t lie about mileage and have them have to file a dispute because you’re too lazy to do your job right. Don’t tell them they’re getting a $50 rebate back because their 100% guaranteed reservation wasn’t 100% or even 5% close to what was reserved. And most of all don’t have them have to call around different customer service lines to figure out what went wrong and have them find out you did nothing you said.

David C** This survey would not allow me to select "N/A", this had nothing to do with the location of pickup and drop off and it's owners ** It's the process of UHaul's rental procedure. First of, I reserved a towing trailer a month before I needed it. It was a one way transport and everything was set...so I thought. A couple of days before I was to pick it up from a local location, thank God I called because I hadn't received an email, like I was told I would to confirm my "reservation". Instead what I found out and was told by UHaul was that they don't reserve the equipment for you. You really have no possession of it till 24 hours prior to and during that time, they are free to give your equipment to whoever calls in the interim and you're still left wondering if you will have one 24 hours prior!!?? So the reservation part is really false advertising, non existent and pointless. What turned out to be a 10 minute drive to pick it up turned into a 3 hour round trip drive for me, just to pick up the trailer. I am beyond disappointed at the time and gas I had to waste in using UHaul.
