The u-Haul data in the computers needs to be updated the recommends vehicles that should be used and the guy that hooked up the trailer did not completely hook the ball up ,he left it loose and the trailer was just sitting on the ball. Other than that everything was good.

Better customer service and true fool to customers and letting them know what is being charge instead of lying I wish charge $14 which was optional if I want it the protection for the u-haul truck the guy put it on my receipt as if I wanted it and did not give me the option to let me choose he made it as if that was a choice that I had to take the u-haul truck I had to sweep out in a back it was dirty as well as the inside of the u-haul truck

I ordered a 17’ truck, but one was not available the day of the rental. We had to make two trips because we couldn’t get everything in the 15’ that was available. This increased my mileage charge. Other than that, everything was great.

They were very accommodating when I made a change of equipment, but I don't think they completed all of the necessary paperwork as I was later told I had not returned equipment that never left their store. Also the chains were not made high enough off the ground so that when car and trailer were loaded they dragged the road.

I was told I owed a little more than $2.00 for mileage overage (5 or so miles I think). I told them I thought the 93 miles was a low allowance since we weee coming from Carolina Beach, NC and Wilmington is about 75 miles from Lumberton. I also pointed out that I returned the truck with 1/2 a tank more than needed. They still required the overage payment. I know this is u-hauls policy and not theirs but they happened to be the ones enforcing it.

dropped off after hours so I did not go inside. I did receive an email first thing in the morning the next day notifying me that the drop off was received and my receipt with turn in mileage. I was planning on calling them as soon as they opened to confirm this but didn't need to!. Very impressed.

Dangerous! Besides truck had sticky drink spilled on interior .Person forgot to hook up trailer lights and didn’t tighten hitch latch. All 4 trailer tires were low. I didn’t notice until my car was on the trailer at the house . After checking pressure . 3 tires over 30 psi low and the 4th tire didn’t even registera pressure . This was ridiculously. If I didn’t notice the tires they could have easily blown after getting on the interstate .

GOOD EXPERIENCE ..I FEEL dollies need to come with your trucks. SHOULD NOT HAVE TO RENT. Cars even come with a Jack in the back.

I had reserved the truck online and had also requested a furniture dolly and furniture blankets. When we got to pick up the truck, they did not have the dolly or the blankets.

Fix the truck... Check engine light came on and i probably over spent on gas due to the light being on and fuel not burning properly..I was scare that the truck would of left me stranded.

I would make sure the return process is better explained. I didn't know I needed to take pictures of the truck and mileage to return it after hours and had already turned the key in the drop box.

The mileage on the truck did not match the mileage on the contract I received. It was not off by much but of course it was in favor of U-Haul. This location needs to make sure that everything is accurate. Unless this was intentional.

My U-Haul was not reserved for me and the appliance and utility dolly that I ordered were not reserved for me. I was there after business hours doing a self check out and an employee of the business showed up to get something out of the office so I asked him to help me and he reluctantly got the truck for me but said he was not getting the two hand trucks for me because he was off the clock. I will say that the field representative I dealt with was very helpful and accommodating. However, at this location, the experience was not good and it should not be a U-haul dealer.

There were ants in the cabin and back of the truck. They came out from behind the trim and headliner as I drove. They got into the items that I was transporting.

The owner was more concerned about using local truck to make a higher commission than helping us get a truck that we could drop off at the location we were traveling to. Owner was rude and not concerned at all about over charging for truck. Made rude remark to me. I would not advise anyone to go to this location for a UHAUL truck. Very disappointed in the lack of concern for the local community. I have used UHAUL many times before in the past and have never had anyone try to cheat me out of my money but instead help. UHAUL needs to make better choices about who they let complete this service. It makes UHAUL look bad.

My drop off was a horrible experience worse I've ever had dealing with any business. I was told to contact toll free number when I arrived at my destination so I did. I spoke with a horrible young woman, she was rude, arrogant and just down right disrespectful. She assigned me a drop off site that took me in another state, when I asked her to change it she said she couldn't when I told her that my contract said something different, she changed the destination drop off to the State where I was going to I explained that another town was closer to me and could I drop it off there. She said no I asked to speak with a manager and she said that's me I asked to speak with someone over her, She said he is going to say the same thing I did. I'm sad to say he was just as unaccommodating as she was, it was as if they owned the U haul Company.At that point I just said give me the drop off address, The next day when I took the trailer to the drop off address the gate was locked and very little space to drop it off outside the gated area. I called the toll free number and explained I got the same nasty young woman from the day before even though another woman answered the call, I could hear her voice in the back ground. She must have recognized my name the woman I was speaking to directly asked me a question as I was answering it and she cut me off and said just let me speak, I said I was answering your question. I was told after that we will send you a drop off point by text, 1 hour later no text, I called them back and said, why I haven't received the text I was told it was a problem with the computer I was given the address and read on the door they don't take drop offs from other sites so I called back again finally I was given the cite I rated. they ran me around that town burning my gas up for sheer meanness. My recommendation pull the tapes and listen for yourself Maybe you will realize you don't need people like these people working for your business,

There was a cigarette butt in the ash try. The truck had a bit of smell when I got in it. Once the butt was removed it got better. Clean truck more thoroughly.
